    My Trip Report

We're all set. Going July 15-19. Staying at TI. Found a decent fare out of Louisville and booked it yesterday. It's a 90mile drive from home (Northern KY), but the savings on air fare is worth it.

I'm pumped!! Made my first trip in March with five good friends. This time going with my wife and another couple(who were also there in March). This will be my wifes first trip. Can't wait to show her the sights. I'm sure it will be a bit different than the last trip, but I'm still planning to hit downtown late one night with my buddy.

Since I found this board AFTER my last trip, I'm sure I will be much better prepared this time. You folks are great!

    I can't wait!!

I know that there have been lots of good recommendations for romantic types of activities posted, but if any of you can give me a refresher I'd appreciate it.

Hmmm....Romance? My idea of perfect Vegas romance is a sushi dinner for two....But I'm sort of strange (and we don't have any good sushi restaurants near us so we ALWAYS go when we're in Vegas!!) I just like the fact that I get to be with my husband and have fun for a few days with no worries.....Depending on how much you want to spend, you could do a couples massage or other spa treatment and one of the hotel spas. My husband and I had an hour long couples massage on our honeymoon (in Jamaica, not Vegas) and it was amazing!!! I would gladly do that again and again!!! Canyon Ranch (at Venetian) has some great packages for couples, but they are NOT cheap. I fantasize--if hubby wins big at the craps table, that's where we're going [IMG] Afterwards, we'll have that sushi dinner ;)

Just checked the prices on some of the spa things at the Venetian......I think we'll have to settle for Rocko's massage parlor down at the El Corteze :D
Actually the spa idea is a good one. I'll check around.

    Thanks!

The spa at TI is nice. Had an hour massage there last week! I don't know if they do any couple massages in the spa, but you might check and see if they will come to your room. The massages at TI are a little cheaper than at the Venetian- especially if you can get a coupon. I had one for 10% off of any service. It came in the booklet I got when I signed up for the slot club in November. I'm not sure if they are still giving those booklets out, but it wouldn't hurt to ask!

How about dinner at Mon Ami Gabi; ask for a table with a view of the Bellagio tables. Very romantic.
