And oddly enough I'm about even on slots. +/- a few bones and slots is what I've played the most which is also a first for any trip.

Agree on the dealertainers, though their dancing bartenders are hot (GG). What also helps is the LVC outfits are far hotter than the gates.

    Goals Recap:

Goals for my first ever "solo" trip to vegas:

1.) Come home with 100k (lol.....this goal didn't get met and actually came home in the - column which hasn't happened in several trips. I was overdue.)

2.) Have a yellow chip session (Once again this wasn't close....I pressed up to 200 bucks on my very first BJ session of the trip and lost first hand after press. I made one 400 dollar bet on my last hand of the trip and it promptly lost as well. I just could not get anything going on the BJ tables whatsoever.)

3.) Get a hand pay (still looking for my first.....I dropped 11 hundo to the beast last trip out in Vegas. My biggest payout to date was at the Horseshoe in Cleveland on the Superman machine.....certainly no handpay, but fun.)

No handpay, but I did get my biggest payout ever at the Golden Nugget on a Buffalo machine.

4.) Head downtown for an entire day. I want to be in a cab heading downtown as the sun comes up and leaving down town as the sun comes up. I want as full of a 24 hours as I can get. I will also make every attempt to get a few pics of Magic Mike and I winning some serious JACK downtown.

I finally got to see Downtown this trip. It's been waaaaaaay too long. My home base used to be the Golden Nugget and Binions. I am happy to report Golden Nugget is still alive and well and not a lot has changed thankfully. Binions? Good grief....there was not one single 3:2 BJ table open when I was in there. Pathetic. More on this below......

5.) Get yelled at 47 time for taking innapropriate chip porn images while at the tables.

I hope you took the under here......I didn't get yelled at once, but I also didn't take but maybe 5 pics?

6.) Flood your computer with Vegas pics and other happenings.

Meh......not as good of a job as I could of done.

7.) Enjoy not having to be anywhere or worry about anybody, but myself. Doing Vegas solo should be cool experience for somebody that gambles as long and as hard as I do.

I enjoyed my solo trip without question.

    Trip recap:

My Downtown experience (good, bad, ugly)

1.) MSS was a really neat old school feeling casino which I thouroughly enjoyed playing at and walking around.

2.) Golden Nugget has not changed hardly at all. I very happy to see that this Downtown Jewel was still alive and well. I played for probably 12 hours here. Two of the three best gambling experiences I had came from here. I hit a nice win on the Buffalo Slot and I played for hours on end on their new Jurasic Park slot machine. I'm serious....it's a must play if you are downtown. Good grief was it a lot of fun.

3.) Pizza Rock.......Im a pizza nut and this place was very enjoyable to say the least.

4.) The changes to Freemont Street are awful. Freemont is loaded full of @#$%. Last time I was there it had stands that people would sell stuff from and that was fine. I actually would buy stuff from these stands on the regular. (cigars, etc) Now damn near every square inch of Freemont is occupied by someone or something trying to shake you down. You wanna talk about freaks? Good grief.....I can't even describe some of the $%^& I saw. Just stupid. I don't know how these freakshows help the Downtown economy. Worst part of all this is the sheer number of young kids walking up and down Freemont with their parents seeing stuff that I can't wrap my head around let alone a 12 year old......Disgusting.

I will not make a special trip Downtown again anytime soon. With that said would I stay at the Golden Nugget? Absolutely, but to grab a cab and head down......nah I'll pass.

    Food recap:

1.) Ate at 550 pizza in Aria twice this trip and it was very good both times.

2.) Ate at Smashburger(Caesars food court) twice as well. I had very low expectations when I ate there the first time. (just wanted something quick so I could get back to kicking the bubble machines ass.) All I can say is that without question it is the best fast food burger I've ever eaten. Awesome and the milkshakes are nothing short of awesome as well.

3.) Earl of Sandwhich (Caesars food court) I had the Italian and wasn't overly impressed with it.

4.) Binions BBQ Downtown.....I got the full rack of ribs and was very disappointed. I like fall of the bone ribs and these certainly didn't fit that bill. Were they edible? sure, but certainly will not be eating there again.

    binions bbq.jpg

    Gambling recap:

1.) Blackjack as already been mentioned numerous times killed me this trip. It's my game of choice and I didn't have one session that was worth a damn.

2.) Dice.....I was up on the trip tossing the bones. I only had one losing session and it was minor at the Downtown Grand. The bubble machine at Caesars was dag gone ATM machine for me and soooooooo much fun.

3.) Slots.....I had a blast playing playing slots this trip. If I was down playing slots it certainly wasn't a very big figure and well worth every penny.

    My favorite slots were:

    1.) Jurasic Park (Golden Nugget)
2.) Buffalo (Golden Nugget.....the one that has the rumbling chair, etc)
3.) Big Bang Theory (Downtown Grand)
4.) Sons of Anarchy (Aria and Bellagio)
5.) 4 games played Hangover machine (Bellagio....I hit bonus 6 pushes in a row) (this machine is also at Caesars, but I couldn't hit much of anything on that one)
6.) Hangover Best Friends bonus game.....4 players with a big screen above the machines (Aria)
    7.) Willy Wonka (Bellagio)
8.) Super Man the Movie (This is the same machine I had so much fun on at the Horseshoe in Cleveland. I played this game at the Nugget and Aria)
    9.) Walking Dead (Bellagio)

As you can see I played a rediculous amount of slots this trip and the above list were just my favorites. I was REALLY disappointed in the slot selection at Caesars. To put it bluntly it was terrible. Every single Downtown casino I walked into had a better selection of slots than Caesars. I like the fully immersive slot machines. (chairs shaking and more noise the better, etc) Caesars has one game that fits that bill....(some kind of Alladin looking game over by the bubble machine)

    Room recap:

My Augustus room was very nice as always..... again nothing extravagant, but very nice by my standards.

I think that's enough writing and useless drivel for one report.....lol. Take care VMB!
