We have just added a new feature/tool to the board. It gives you the ability to bookmark a post for later reference. Here is how it works:

At the bottom of posts, where you see Edit and Report, you will now see an option for Bookmark. Click on this and it will open a new window.

bookmarkpost.webp
In the Note: field, enter the information you want to use to remember why you bookmarked this note, ie, "Locaiton of full pay VP" or "Chinese Restaurant Recomendation".

Press Submit.

If you go to the top of the main board and hover over your username, on the bottom, right side of the drop down menu, you will see "Bookmark List". Click on that for a list of your bookmarks:

bookmarklist.webp

It will list the forum the message appears in, the thread title, who posted it, the post date and your note when you created the bookmark. If you click on the Thread Title, it will take you to the bookmarked post.

Click on Edit on the far right and it will open up a new window:
editbookmark.webp
Here you have two options:
In the upper, left, you can Delete the Bookmark.
In the Note: field, you can edit your note.
The field for Bookmark ID can not be edited, although it looks like maybe you can. You can't. ;)

Once you have made your changes, click on Submit and you will be returned to the Bookmark List.

That's it. Just a simple tool that was requested by a VMBer to have a simple way to hang onto important information and references between trips. Hope you like it!

Wow, that is awesome! No more copy and paste into word for me. Love it, thanks.
