What did you find in the Flamingo High Limit room? I know they have one pit of 3:2 on the main floor with $15 8 deck and $25 double deck pitch most of the time.

Has anyone noticed that Binion’s no longer offers even money option on a blackjack? Never seen that anywhere before...

The only places I’ve seen even money offered on 6:5 tables are Mlife properties. Even money essentially pays you 3:2 for blackjack so the math doesn’t work on 6:5 tables.

There are only four 3:2 tables at Hollywood Columbus on the main floor, $15 and $25, H17, DAS, 8 deck shoe. You can identify them by the gray felt.

I don’t see 1:1 happening like 6:5. People may not know that they are supposed to get 3:2 but I think just about everyone knows you should get something extra with a blackjack.

You know, if a casino deals a game that pays 1:1 on a blackjack, then it sure as better not be an automatic win for the house if they get one! It's just a two-card 21... players should have the opportunity to push with a 3 or 4 card 21!
    ...just sayin'...
Oh, and if any guy ever actually spots a female dealer who is SO good looking as to make 1:1 blackjack worth it, please let me know.

Is Bellagio stil offering the 4 tables on the main floor with 3:2 S17 at 25/50 and 50/100 (depending on time of day). Will be there march 13th. Im comfortable playing at 25$ and or 50$ but if the stakes are 100 or higher for 3:2 i need to look for other options.

I don’t know about at $25 but those tables are still there often at $50. If you are there early enough in day they have a H17 game that can be at $25.

Anyone on the strip now or just back? Looking for any news on $15 3:2 games. Cromwell still the best strip option?

Yes $15 3/2 games at cromwell and usually one $10 end table by eatwell during the weekdays. They also just added a $10 free bet blackjack game on the end by the lounge.

They had a number of 3:2 games this past Friday and Saturday at both PH and Cromwell at $15.

PH even had $10 tables Saturday morning at 3:2.

The PH tables are outside the south side of Heart Bar, in between the Pleasure Pit and the set of tables they only open up at night. There were 3 or 4 of them Friday night, and 2 Saturday.

Cromwell tables were just past where people line up for the club.

There was also one 3:2 table at Excalibur for $15. It's dead center in the middle of the casino, and was empty other than myself between 4 and 5 on Saturday afternoon. The 6:5 $10 tables next to it were packed.

I just came back from LAS, and everybody sees the South Point-"All Blackjacks pay 3/2", but at the $5 and $10 double deck hand held games, the dealers were putting the cut card halfway, which meant at a 4-5 player table, they were getting maybe three hands before shuffling up. Has anyone else noticed this, or was I just more observant this trip? So they have a good rule, and then offset it by being overly paranoid about penetration.

They're afraid of card counters. Unless you're counting, penetration doesn't matter as long as they're using a cut card and not engaging in preferential shuffling (shuffling early if a bunch of low cards come out at the beginning and dealing deep if lots of 10s and aces have already been dealt). More shuffling means a slower game which is good for everyone except card counters (and the casino, ironically). Card counters believe steadfastly that casinos would make more money by dealing deep and thereby getting more rounds in per hour for all players rather than short-shoeing themselves just to chase off the few counters who are actually good enough to hurt them. The casinos obviously disagree.
