hey guys so up coming March weekend taking my family to Vegas staying at MGM Skylofts for a weekend along with taking her to Bruno Mars concert. With that being said, I'm looking for Resturant that we can take her for bday!!! There will be ours friends joining as well about 10 to 12 of us.
First though was going to Morimoto @ MGM but it might be too formal. Looking at MGM property's Resturant only as of now (all food will be covered under Express Comps)
Someone suggest I should cater the food and have party at Skylofts since it's 2 bedrooms. But it's my first time staying there and never had catered there before.
I would very much appreciate if you can suggest good Resturant -
There will be about 5 teenagers and rest would be adults - it can be any type of Resturant!

We really like Wolfgang Pucks restaurant inside the MGM. It sounds like it would be perfect for your group. Not too stuffy, open, fun for teenagers, good food choices and excellent food.

Top Golf is not a simulator, but essentially a giant driving range. There are "targets" throughout the range, and the balls are electronicially tracked. You rent a bay (or bays) and there are several different kinds of scoring systems used to compete with one another. There is full service food and drinks and seating areas on the bay levels. I have been to some corporate events at Top Golf and it has been pretty good.

I don't think it is what you are looking for with regards to dinner but it could be a nice thing to do for the teenagers in your group.

Depending on which end of teen they are on and not sure it can use express comps, but Dick's Last Resort @ Excalibur could be entertaining.

We've had dinner with a large group at Grand Wok. Sat at a large table and they had a lazy susan thing in the middle so you could wheel stuff around and try different things. Awesome food and fun atmosphere overlooking the casino.

You could also let her review the menus online and pick something. Or, walk through and look at each place the first night. Since Fri and Sat are often busy, try to avoid those nights if you can. Large tables are always an issue.

OOPs - just read your post - you are doing a weekend. Which place is the concert at? If over at the new arena, someplace over there might be nice.

Tom's Urban at NYNY by the Park would be a good option. Good quality food with strip views.

Javiers at Aria is a pretty lively joint, I like their food, it is a stop for us almost every time. Diablos in front of MC would also be a good option. While I've never eaten at Double Barrel at MC, that would probably be a good one too. The suggestion of Tom's Urban is good, I've only eaten breakfast there though, been pleased every time. Those are all casual joints that would allow for people watching, good food and fun.

They would probably dig Tilted Kilt or Twin Peaks.

If on mlife comps, Diablo's is really cool, "Dusk till Dawn" vibe but really pretty, and a bay of windows that open onto the strip. (The roll them open in warm weather.)

550 pizza in Aria has great pizza. Teenage boys and pizza is almost always a thumbs up, and it's foodie pizza, the adults will like it too.

Wherever you take them, they'll have a blast, and have a great Dad Drew!
