We are coming in May and are planning on going as a group of 6-10 for dinner one night. Any input to what is the better choice? I know I like Triple George myself but they want to try something different.

Redwood grill at the Cal has been great in the past. They have remodeled and I have not eaten there since but poked my head in and it looked nice, The steak special is no more but the menu looked resonably priced. In the past the food has been excellent

Oscars is probably better than hugos for a group, but both will accomadate you, and you should be able to buy tix4tonight for 25-35%% off.

Easily the two best places downtown. Maybe Andiamo. Possibly below that is Vic and Anthony's. The first three are all very good. The fourth is a step down. Maybe a couple of other slightly above averages places, but after that a huge step down.

I'd vote for Andiamo's. If there are couples, maybe Hugo's.

Andiamo for sure. I tried V&A one year, and it wasn't as good. I keep saying I'm going to try Oscars or Hugos one time, but I just can't stop going to Andiamo's.
