I have the option of staying at Bill's or PH for about the same price. Which would you choose and why?

I would go with Bill's because it's smaller and quieter. But for folks who like a more festive atmosphere and more modern decor, PH may be better. It also has more resort features as Bill's is pretty much a casino with a hotel on top.

40 something male, staying one night somewhere cheaper between Bellagio and Cosmo. Happy enough with the old school vibe, not too heavily into clubs. I like that staying at Bills allows access to the Flamingo pool. But maybe PH is a way better hotel?

Getting pool time on a one night stay can be difficult. If you don't get into your room early ....and the pools in Vegas close early (think suppertime). PH newer larger, Bills...my only concern would be noise at night from the street. Bally's and MGM I had higher floor rooms than they have at Bills and I could hear sirens all night. Neither is a bad choice IMO...just mentioned the noise factor in case you are a light sleeper.

PH, would be my choice, bouncing from Cosmo or Bellagio to Bills would be a bit of a shock to the system.

I'm surprised Bill's would cost as much as PH. For about the same price I'd stay at PH.

I like PH better, and I enjoy gambling there. It's a younger feel and more hip. I'm 24 though. I think at you're age it would be fine too.

I liked the room. Never stayed at Bills. I like playing craps there (cheap) but I don't like the old school feel. If I want that old school feel I go downtown.

PH has a pool too. Not a great one, but Bills doesn't.

Bills for the more personal feel and IMO a better central location than PH!

PH in IMO nothing like Black Sabbath's "War Pigs" blasting in the elevators at 8AM, plus Earl of Sandwich, Miracle Mile, Cosmo across the street, If same price as Bills' do Planet HO

PH by all means! We've stayed at both. There is just not much at Bill's, and it is old feeling. Our daughters had a room facing the back of the hotel, and had no problem with noise but no view. We had a front room, and had views of the Eiffel Tower and fountains, but the noise was atrocious. Planet Hollywood is just better. Both are in good locations, and if my only choice to go back to Vegas would be Bill's, I'd take it in a heartbeat, but if you have a choice, go with PH.

Bill's easily. Didn't like PH (rooms nor casino) when I stayed there last year.
