We stayed there a few times when it was BarBary Coast. Good location and cheap back then.

If you still want to play $1 NL, it's at the Linq now (former IP/Quad). It probably doesn't run as often as Bill's used to, but it runs a good number of weekend late nights.

I haven't spent much time there since Cromwell opened, but it seemed they are trying to go for a Cosmo style vibe. So probably no more singing, lol

Some of my most memorable Vegas moments either started or finished at Bills. Will miss that place.

I am interested to check out the Cromwell on my next trip, but I'm not sure what to expect. There's been very little talk good or bad about the property with alot of the other new additions taking the attention away. (SLS, Linq, etc.)

I as well miss playing at Bill's but the Cromwell is a great time as well just in a different way. Gone are the all day and night $5 craps games but the Cromwell has a great vibe about it. The drink service is excellent and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

I look forward to playing a good bit of craps there in a few days.

I was last in Vegas in July and popped into Cromwell. I was blown away. The casino was gorgeous and the staff was extremely friendly. And the drink service was the best I've ever had in Vegas, by far. Again, the casino was pretty new at that time, so they might have been working very hard to impress people. The cocktail waitresses were saying things like "you should try this drink" or "we can make your drink like this if you'd like."

I'm heading back in about 9 days and I will spending a lot of time in Cromwell! (Of course, my experience is strictly anecdotal.)

I spent 3 weeks in Vegas............May, August, and November 2014. Although i didn't stay there, i spent an enormous amount of time in the casino. Cromwell is, IMO, the class of CET. It's small compared to other casinos, but being small affords the employees ample opportunity to serve you.
The next time you go to Vegas, visiting Cromwell will leave you with some memorable Vegas moments.
Can't wait till Spring 2015 so i can recapture my moments of glory that the Cromwell has given me in 2014.

SLS is nice and they did a good job of making the Sahara new again, but too far away from civilization.

The LinQ Hotel and Entertainment Center is a great place to ride the Wheel, catch a concert, get drunk at O'Shea's, shop and eat, and just hang out outside the casinos.

Don't know when you're going back, but on the South Strip, many new things at MGM, NYNY, Monte Carlo, etc as well. A new Central Park, Hershey's, new Arena, etc. Not all done, like the Arena, but the Strip, from Wynn down to Mandalay Bay, will even be more memorable to take your attention away.

I had the single handest best service experience with a CW there. My wife was equally as impressed.

One thing the CW remarked was that her intent was to provide great service, so much so, that she sees us again on our trip (we stopped by there night 1 of the 6 day trip). They were one of the few places that had Blue Moon on hand that trip.

I found the slot selection a little lacking, but the service certainly overcame that. Vibe was awesome. I play table games a bit but just haven't yet there, and the crowds were having fun.
