Planning on coming out for Super Bowl weekend and staying at the D. Not a High Roller so don't think we'll be invited to comped parties. Are there any places to watch the game and have some food at reasonable prices?

I just received my offers from The D for that timeframe and there was something mentioned about a party @ the new DLV Events Center (owned by the D).
I will check my flyer this weekend to see what it says, but you might make a call to the D and see if you can go there. It's huge. I'm assuming they're setting up tents or some such since it's outdoors, but I'm not really sure.

Otherwise, check out 777 Brewery @ MSS, just get there early!

Thanks for the info. I made reservations for the D so hopefully that works. Just trying to go somewhere to watch and cheer the game, but keep it under $50.

Big Star Dallas all the way. Wish I was getting in earlier on Sunday to catch the Cowboys first playoff game. Ah well. Plaza Big Game party looks pretty good actually. Have never been out for the Super Bowl, and unless my January trip treats me very well, it won't be this year either heh.

What kind of play is required for a comped entry to your Super Bowl party?

Just as with comping a room stay: 4 hours of casino play on tables with an average bet of $25-$50 min, or 500-1000 points per day playing on slot machines. :)
