Not impulse so much as necessities; ordered some grooming products for my pups since they won’t have their regular spa appointments and a nail drill to remove my gel nails as I am long overdue and there won’t be any mani and pedi appointments in the near future. Don’t even get me started on my hair.

Well, one toy came in today's mail.

    upload_2020-4-10_10-55-39.png

However, the more I buy, the more I remember. So I had to buy three chips from the Albuquerque area (Isleta, Sandia and Santa Ana Star).

I also appear to not have a chip from Circus Circus Las Vegas. I am not going to buy that on-line, as it can wait until my next Vegas trip.

I want to get into road biking but don’t know where to start. I would want a carbon bike but nothing too extreme as I would be doing it as a hobby. Any suggestions on starter bikes?

Yeast. It's the only thing I've impulse bought on Amazon I think, so far. All the stores are sold out and Amazon is slim pickens, so I got some. Hamburger and hot dog buns are in short supply too, so I took my first shot at baking homemade hamburger buns yesterday. A couple of them split at the top while baking, but overall I think they will be good.

Now, if impulse buying online elsewhere counts, I did grab a couple of full rib caps of Kagoshima A5 wagyu (it's the same stuff they sell at Bazaar Meat and from the same farm in Kagoshima). Ironic to me that you cant buy a cheap steak at the grocery store here but I got 4 pounds of A5 wagyu from Japan to my door in 3 days. Oh well, what can ya do?

Ya'll are so impressive. I am eating well but uhm, I'm proud when I scramble some eggs. Ran out of milk so I put in a couple of teaspoons of greek yogurt instead and they were FANTASTIC! Super creamy + a bit more protein.

No Amazon back in the day but....I came home pretty darn drunk one night and ordered a slew of comics from some site. Forgot about them until a delivery guy showed up at my door.

I also bought a bunch of Time-Life CD's back in the day that may have been close to the time I bought the CD's. Their may have been a period of time where I was forced to turn over my credit card to my room mate at the end of the night after we had been out drinking.

Best splurge so far was some ice cream from one of our favorite spots during our travels. I promise the Bourbon Ball is the best ice cream you’ll ever have if you like bourbon.

Have a Milk Bar pie arriving today since we were supposed to be heading to Vegas at this time and it’s the only thing from Momofuku (wife’s fav) I could easily do at home. Don’t have the desire for the in person shopping needed to recreate the bao buns, noodles, and salt and pepper shrimp at home, so this will have to do.

Not from Amazon but bought a couple, yep 2 tote/travel/carryon bags. And a nice summer tee shirt for whenever and wherever my next trip. I only buy new clothes for travels. So still looking forward to traveling.

And though I'm an ex-QVC shopaholic I am tempted to purchase some of their delish looking food items.

Not from amazon but I bought an iPad Air. Had a trip in April so figured it’s about the same amount I would have spent on the slots and a lot less then we would have spent total on the trip. It arrives today.

Again, not an Amazon purchase, but I impulse bought another 1st class ticket to Vegas today after getting approved for a refund of the one I had for a week from today. It's for Memorial Day weekend, for the time being. Or like, thanksgiving, christmas, whatever.

Only one, a short novel by a longtime comedian who has worked in Minnesota over the years when he's not touring the country.

Technically it cost me 75 cents. I haven't read it yet. I've got a huge book I'm working on, and not because I'm mentioned in it by name.

I need to be an "ex". I got to get this QVC/HSN craziness under control. I too buy mostly for travels (though I have been doing a lot of "pandemic" food/wine shopping for family and friends.) I think I now have dozens of new "Vegas" outfits.

This is a bit different than many people, but I bought a beautiful set of hand-checkered rosewood grips for my old Browning. The wood almost glows in the sunlight. Best impulse purchase in a long time.

...also, I got a copy of The Stand for my Kindle.
