A lot of people have me hyped on flamingo Go Pool for 4th of July weekend. Where do you think will be the best places for a party weekend and getting a cabana?

Honestly that's a very subjective question. What kind of music do you listen to? Are you bringing a group of friends? Are you going solo? Are women coming with you? Flamingo Go pool is cool, but honestly leaves a lot to be desired.

For a "low end" property, Flamingo has one of the best pools on the strip. I always like MGM Grand pool, with the F&B minimum cabanas... You sound young so maybe you'll want to hit up the day clubs instead but let me tell you a story of a recent bachelor party that "I heard about" and now I only party in the general pool area instead of the day clubs no matter what.

    1) They pat search you and check any bags at the line. Any drugs or drug paraphernalia and you're booted. Some of the bachelor party members were too hungover to attend the morning meet up where this was mentioned. They got caught and didn't make it inside. One other person got a nose bleed in line and he was instantly kicked out too. They lost 4 people before the party even started
    2) There's constant surveillance and undercovers. I can see why too. There were so many girls or skinny dudes that couldn't hold their liquor (and maybe drugs) and were escorted out via stretchers, completely knocked out. It seems like law suit waiting to happen, It's crazy that casinos would risk this. But then again, cabanas and bottle service at the clubs were going for like $5,000 that weekend.
    3) Because of the security, just because you're inside you're still not safe. 2 more of the party were caught and kicked out. We think one solicited an undercover for some drugs, the other must have snuck it in. The party were slowly getting eliminated one by one like it was a Willy Wonka movie. $5,000 down the tube.
    4) Get a cabana at the general pool. There's still plenty of young people there, easier to converse. Tip your cabana waitress $50 tell her that you'll be closing the curtains and would like some privacy for the next 20 mins. Easy peasy. Hell i even seen the waitress come in, see what was going on, still bussed the drinks and plates, and said "let me know if you need anything else" before leaving, no judgement at all. That's great service.

It's 4th of july weekend so it will be crackin' wherever you go. Save money and hassle and just hit up the general pools. In my experience, young people tend to be more social in the general pool area. I've seen people get more success inviting girls to their cabana in the general pool than a day club. It feels like in a day club that the girls wanna know if you're some type of rapper or athlete or agent. I'm neither of those so i never have any luck there.

Also, i'm not a fan of EDM and vegas clubs are kind of built on it. General pools tend to play top 40.

So, as I’m reading it: don’t do drugs, don’t be overly drunk and you’ll be fine?

I think it’s a great things security is keeping those people away from the pools...

    Just my 2c...

My thoughts exactly haha. Just be a normal person at the pool, have a few drinks, relax and enjoy? Shouldn’t be that hard people!

but is weed considered a drug now?

(trolling, I'll never be at the pool unless its for flamingo craps)
(and it's probably like Freemont, a vape pen should do)
