Not according to a semi-recent rant from John Curtas: http://www.eatinglv.com/2017/02/shucking-rm-seafood-good/ I've had pretty good ones at Emeril's a few years ago. Pretty sure there was an existing thread on oysters around here if you do a search. I just saw a Happy Hour announcement on Yonaka Modern Japanese's Facebook page announcing this concoction: Oyster shooter, sake whiskey bloody mary, shallot mignonette, quailegg. Looks good in the picture.
Not sure if it's a regular menu item, but dining at Mon Ami Gabi one night our server told us they had oysters that we still in the ocean yesterday. I had drank a lot of wine before that, but he did have what I felt was a legit story as to where they were from etc. I just remember them tasting very fresh and it was a great recommendation from our server.
Gotta remember that the ELV authors are, indeed, a troika. Sometimes seems that it's more a competition than a partnership when it comes to individual restaurant reviews. More about who is right, as emphasized by Curtis' next to last paragraph, than about coming to a consensus on the Las Vegas restaurant world.
