Curious what the top 3 buffets of your choices are. I've never done Mandalay Bay. Usually do Bellago, Bacchanal Buffet, Spice Market (been a while though), or Monte Carlo/Mirage.

Paris - for breakfast, I think is amazing.

As far as my opinion.. Of all the MGM Buffets, Aria is the best hands down. I would then say Bellagio (Even though is has gone downhill in the last few trips in my experience. Mirage in third place.

    Same as @Knucklehead69
Aria, Bellagio distant second, and Mirage because at least alcohol is included w/out an extra fee

I would also agree Aria is the best, the Mirage is also good, we always eat at both on our trips. On our last trip we decided to also try the MGM buffet and it was just alright. One thing I wish the Aria would do that I like at the Mirage is the self serve beverages with the Coke freestyle machines, sometimes it takes a while for the server to come back with a refill at the Aria. The Mirage also had a better beer selection this last trip as well.

Mandalay Bay buffet can be skipped. Its very small compared to the others and nothing to write home about.

Make that 3. Though Aria would he way ahead of Bellagio and Bellagio would be way ahead of Mirage.

If you want to go 4 deep, then probably MGM Grand.

I find that the newest properties seem to have the best buffets. Although it seems buffets are falling out of favor now a days.

Agree with you on buffets falling out of favor in recent years. We usually do one dinner buffet per trip when we really don't feel like getting dressed up for dinner.
Just a side note... Even though their dinner buffet is nothing to write home about, the Monte Carlo has a really good breakfast buffet. Great omelettes and waffles made to order and cut to order sausages, ect.... I believe it's $17.99 which is really good by Vegas standards

I enjoyed the Mirage buffet a lot. It's not the fanciest but the food is reasonably good with some variety and the service is fine. I don't minding getting my own drinks since I can just do it quicker and at my recent trip, they were quick to clear plates.

Plus you can use a 2 for 1 from the LVA book which is always great.

MGM Grand is the worst of all the MGM Buffets, and imo, the worst in all of LV. The Golden Nuggets buffet, as God awful as that culinary shitshow is, is better.
