I would love to hear who you think has the best Mexican food on the strip. There is a place at Bally's (cant remember the name) I thought they had great steak tacos but I would love some other options. Thanks for
    your input.

I don't have a lot to compare to but we really like Javier's at Aria.

We've eaten something different there each time and never disappointed. DH likes the margaritas.

For two people to share, this is our favorite thing on the menu and very reasonably priced:
    • *LA TABLITA (PARA DOS PERSONAS)
Prepare your own tacos with your choice of carne asada, carnitas or grilled natural chicken at your table. Served on a wooden platter with all the condiments: arroz, refritos, jalapenos, salsa fresca, guacamole, rajas, grilled green onions and your choice of warm tortillas.
      - You get all three meats and two of us couldn't finish but half the food-

    the place in Ballys
    Tequila Taqueria Bar & Grill
is eh, wasnt bad but wasnt great, but a mexican place without real queso is not good IMO...we hit two mexican places on the last trip we went on 2 weeks ago...

Chayo on the linq was pretty damn good, you can charge to your room if you stay at CET properties which is rare on the linq and the tacos I had were over-stuffed which is 100% fine with me...had the empanadas, salsa and tostadas and it was all great, food to service was 100%

the other place we hit on our last few hours in town was "Nacho Daddies" on side of miracle mile shop. get a 3 way sampler with guac, salsa and candle heated queso, lol...bottomless chips...had a big menu, we just shared a enchilada sampler which was plenty to fill us up

id go hands down back to one of those two over the place in ballys

Javier's at Aria is great! Been there three times. Always been satisfied. About $100 every time for my wife and I.

I don't recall the name of it, but we ate at a place right inside of PH, casino floor level, and were not impressed.

Our favorite before it closed was Margaritas in the Frontier. I think Gonzlez y Gonzales in NYNY is pretty good.

Ok I know not on the strip, but Ricardo's is an amazing Mexican restaurant. It is a few blocks past Rio. Uber from Monte Carlo was $7. It is open 24 hours. http://www.ricardosoflasvegas.com/
Chips are complimentary and come with 3 different dips. They have 2 different happy hour times. Prices are reasonable and using a gift certificate from Restaurant.com make it a really good deal.

The only Mexican food I've experienced on the Strip is at Gonzalez Y Gonzalez at NYNY. We enjoy it and have visited that restaurant each trip we've made.

I'll second the vote for Nacho Daddy. We had never heard of it but stopped in there about 3 weeks ago just because we were starving and needed a beer. We were all impressed. Good quality food, nice d├ęcor (including the bartender). It was one of the best surprises and meals of our trip

Both of these are excellent suggestions.

I have enjoyed Hencho en Vegas at MGM Grand and TnT at Luxor. Can't say the same for Chayo at the Linq. The most bland guacamole and tacos I've ever had. The server even agreed that the kitchen has a problem making a good guac!! Will be trying out Nacho Daddy on the upcoming trip.

I can't remember the name of the place but it was like a little shop on the strip inside this Plaza full of other vendors and things.... But they were very affordable and very tastey... It was on the Planet Hollywood side of the strip I wish I can remember the name of the plaza........... But if I go to Vegas I would know for sure where it was when I see it.

If you just want a quick fix to taste Mexican food and are at the Fashion Mall they have a food Court that also has a Mexican place.
The food is just okay but they have the best salsa that I enjoy eating with chips.

I think most of the best restaurants are not on the strip. I once went to one that was awsome some where in Vegas.

Hussong's Cantina in between Luxor an Mandalay Bay is one I would recommend. Ate there last year seemed pretty good.

I second, or third, the nomination of Gonzalez y Gonzalez. Very good and affordable. Not high class, but I enjoy getting a table by the rail and watching the people stroll by.

China Poblano at Cosmo is excellent. The menu is a mix of Chinese and Mexican... which I thought was a weird concept until I tried it out and really enjoyed it. You can eat a full Mexican or Chinese meal, or a mix of both. It's a Jose Andres restaurant, so the quality is top notch.

If you are willing to go just off the strip to the Hard Rock casino Pink Taco is really good. And who doesn't want to eat at a restaurant named Pink Taco whose slogan is "eating out never tasted so good."
