Any hotel gift shop will be high. GN and Circa probably higher. Any free standing store will be less, but not as low as Coast locations, Lee's etc.

Got two small bottles at the abc as I got there before it closed

plaza had some wine and maybe booze

one th8ng to note, was told I could not bring in my pop from Walgreens into Circa and I asked them even if I am staying here? After showing my room key, which they said was cool looking and have not seen them yet, they let me bring in my pop and booze with no fuss

Downtown, I can't think of any place that is a better value than ABC. Now, downtown bars tend to have really strong pours, but you are paying bar prices.

The reality is that Walgreens downtown doesn't sell booze. As far as I know, only ABC sells liquor on Fremont St. A couple gift shops do sell beer, though, but the prices aren't all that different.

Southpoint has a lovely liquor store in the casino. Stop by, grab your booze and a bowl of clam choweder and then get out of my way ;-)

But isn't there a Lee's liquor store along the way to SP? I kind of remember seeing one when I was driving to SP. Although not sure how the prices at that place is.

Yes, there is. About a mile north, on the east side of LVB.
Lee's has a reputation for low prices.

There is one on the east side of LV Blvd north of SP. I've stopped there a few times. If SP has what you want, I'd just buy it there. Prices are close enough to Lee's that the effort of pulling in, going in and out etc. isn't worth it to me.

There is a store on the 2nd floor of the California that has decent prices for liquor. It's near the escalator and before the bridge that goes to Main St.

As others have said, ABC store is a no brainer and prices really aren't that bad. Shockingly the prices in the airport liquor store aren't inflated that much either. I'm trying to remember but I think on my last trip a fifth of Bacardi was maybe $2 more than my local store here in Texas. I was shocked to say the least but will definitely be stocking up in the future and not letting the limo driver take me to "their place" and pay 2x normal so they can get their kickback.

The Total Wine near the airport is a great stop off between there and the strip.

Thanks for the tip! I can't remember the name of it, but a couple of trips ago the Presidential driver took us to a place that was clearly a racket between them and the limo companies. The only cars in the parking lots were limos, and the driver came in with us (clearly to get his spiff). Last trip we had a limo from Cosmo come pick us up, and the driver was very adamant that I didn't go and buy booze in the liquor store at the airport, that he knew a place with much better prices LOL. I persisted and just bought at the airport - made for an awkward ride to Cosmo and really kind of set a negative tone. Thanks for giving me an option that can maybe make both happy!

If you've let a limo driver take you to "their" place more than once, we need to sit down and have a serious talk. Just memorize these words, Coast Casinos and Lee's Liquor.
