I go to laughlin all the time. The nicest hotel in laughlin is the Aquarius, its about the closet you will get to strip style but thats still a stretch.

for that reason, i do not stay there but usually stay at the edgewater. its closer to a downtown vegas type place. the place dates to the mid 80's and i get the old rooms which look basically like they are still stuck in that era. They are perfectly serviceable and have a balcony. Just booked the end of june for $18 per night. thats full pop no discounts or resort fees. Cant pass that up for sure.

The Tropicana Express is nice too. Both have table games but I think the Aquarius gets the nod for the 10/7 DB machines and closer to other casino's. The Trop buffet has the best food, imho. Both have close parking structures.

The Edge is equidistant between the Aquarius and sister casino Colorado Belle. Edge bathrooms are huge. I joke they are the same size as the Golden Gate rooms.

would agree with the aquarius as the top pick-----2nd choice would be harrahs which has a nice outside pool area and a small sandy beach on the river-----

I've stayed at the Riverside, Aquarius and Harrahs. All are ok. Harrahs has 2 pools and beach and I think its the best buffet. But to far to walk. Aquarius good rooms. best VP. only had breakfast buffet, was awful. But comes with booze. Casino kinda small boring. Riverside well the truth is the wife likes it. North Tower has Balconies but it's older. 3rd floor pool, 2nd floor bingo, theater ,1st casino rite off elevator. house cleaning not so great. Like the casino. but vp kinda sucks. buffet is so so. bowling if your into that. and car collection to.
I wound not stay at the others. but I do visit them.

We have only stayed at Harrah's but we like the hotel. We like all the casinos on the river, though.

Harrahs treats us the best. Easy upgrades to suites take little coaxing, and they have an adult only pool, beach, two casinos, and offer every table game imaginable including Mississippi stud. Wish there were more choices for food, but that's why there's a water taxi.

I've stayed at all of them as well. The Tropicana and the Golden Nugget have the most updated rooms. All the other properties appears they have not updated their rooms since the 1990s. Personally I like Harrahs because well, they give me free rooms all the time however be warned there is hardly any cell phone signal on that property for some weird reason.
