I have heard a few different things on these boards. Has anyone been there recently and been asked for a drink ticket? I have seen rumors, but have not heard of anyone not getting served there yet.

I was there in October. When I ordered, the chick said I would need a drink ticket, or would have to pay for it.

Bellagio requires drink tickets. About 1-2 years ago, they did not. They changed their policy which was unfortunate, but business is business.

We were there for a Saturday full of horse and college football betting in September and they were wanting drink tickets. They wanted a $10 horse wager for a ticket or $125 sports ticket for 1 drink ticket.

You for sure need a tickets. I'm there quite a bit and the waitress ALWAYS takes them.

Well, that is not cool. Used to be my favorite place to watch games. Looks like I'll head out to LVH this time. Please tell me they haven't changed their policy in the last 9 months.

It's worth noting that here, and other Sportsbooks, tipping the ticket writer goes a long way in scoring a few "extra" drink tickets.

I have found a $10 tip gets me a good stack of 8 -12 drink tickets. Sometimes it only results in a extra 1-2, but more times than not I get a good handful.

Think of it as the "Sportsbook $20 trick"

tipping the clerk is very effective for grabbing some drink tickets and it really does seem to be an under-utilized tool for obtaining them

I agree although I've had better luck tipping and receiving more tickets at Aria compared to Bellagio. Maybe it was the younger workers taking the tickets at Aria compared to at Bellagio.
