I really love the Bellagio dinner buffet. It has been over a year since i have been to the dinner buffet at Bellagio. Refresh me snow crab and king crab correct. Are they cutting them in half now or do we split them no biggie to me just curious. If i remember they were served cold to correct.

Some people have positive reviews some negative for the dinner buffet. Something about the whole atmosphere makes me come back.

I was able to try the bacchanal buffet, it was good but to damn big with options.

I think I went in September which is a long time for me to remember anything, but I believe then it was snow crab, chilled, and they were cut in half. I like it, but prefer Aria.

I've never been to bacchanal, but hope to someday. Just haven't figured out how to get it for free which makes food taste so much better. :feedme:

Can anyone verify if the Bellagio dinner buffet during the week still has hot and cold crab legs. I know they did a year ago but plan on returning this may.
    Thanks

I went in July last year and was verrrry underwhelmed. To the point I will not return. It was through the week, but still - this is the freaking Bellagio buffet. Even the bartender @ sportsbook bar agreed it had slipped. There were just not a lot of options that I found appealing at all - and I'm not a picky eater. As far as the crab goes, it was definitely snow crab.

I went 3 days ago to the bellagio buffet. It was Good Friday so they had to Easter prices in effect . They were just putting out the king crab but they had hot and cold snow crab. But none of the crab legs were split in half length wise like they had always done in the past. You would have to crack them yourself. I don't crack crab legs and I don't peel shrimp. Therefore I did not eat any crab legs. The bellagio has always been my go to buffet. This time however I was not the least bit impressed. I see no reason to go back.

We were there last Thursday and they were already charging Easter prices! We used a buy one, get one free coupon, but would not go back. The quality of the food was a real issue and the seafood all tasted mushy and frozen. Only a few of the desserts were good. I was very disappointed.

In Vegas buffets, or any other casino buffet, I never had King Crab. Maybe Sterling Brunch might offer them, but Wynn/Bellagio/Aria were always snow crab (or maybe dungeness).

Almost all buffets in Vegas offer them cold and cut in half and they offer to heat them up if you choose so. I think cutting them in half dries them out and takes the fun out of crab eating (at least for someone who lived in Pacific NW for some time).

Bellagio dinner buffet in October of last year had snow crab and was just like I mentioned above.

Agreed about pre-cut legs being dried out. Over the years, the quality of crab on buffets has deteriorated. Crab legs were meant to be served in whole shell.

I ate Bellagio buffet on a Tuesday this month, and they had king crab only, cold only, and cut em yo self only. It was the only crab option the night I was there, and they weren't good (I don't think there was necessarily anything wrong with them, but I only eat them hot usually and *I* thought they were gross).

In fact the entire buffet was disappointing to me that night, and it was my longest buffet wait in Vegas ever, and my worst strip dining experience period so far. After waiting quite a long time, we were seated a little after 9pm. They had a 10pm posted closing time that night, and at about 9:40, they started taking food down and cleaning the buffet stations, starting with the dessert bar! It blew my mind they thought that was acceptable when they had seated people well after us and it wasn't even the posted closing time yet, and even more so that they started with the last thing people normally eat, while the dining room was still over half full. We literally only got a few dessert options at 9:45, just what they hadnt taken down already, all the labels were already gone so what we did get was a guessing game, and they were actively pulling trays off right in front of us while we were standing there trying to get dessert. Sorry for a little bit off-topic rant but that was absurd.

We ate Bacchanal the night before (Monday) and there were snow, king, dungeoness, and stone crab all available that night, all were good but the stone had some fancy spice treatment and had quite a kick to it. Did cost like $40 more than Bellagio for the two of us but Bellagio was horrible that night and it's the only time I've ever been there. It was such a bad experience I won't be giving them another try unless it's free. Even Rio was significantly better for less money than Bellagio.

I agree 100% that Rio has been better than Bellagio in my experience lately. It's slipped FAR down the list - I won't be back.

Was at the Bellagio buffet last week and it was horrible. No king crab at all, only snow crab that was low quality and very salty. So sad how much this buffet has declined.

I went on a Friday about 2 months ago and they had both snow crab and king crab, I didn't pay attention to the snow crab but the King crab was scored for you to be able to break it easier. I felt like the quality of the entire buffet was significantly less than times past, but maybe I have just gotten used to it.
