Bellagio and NYNY 4/23-4/28

Good Morning Vegas. Sitting on a conference call, talking about budget overages and capacity constraints. Not how I normally envision a Vegas morning.

After this, have a couple of hours free, then pack up to leave Bellagio and head to NYNY. We'll meet up with the team and head over to Mandalay for the conference. Don't expect much play today, so probably not a lot of updates. Sure I can sneak in some Video Poker at some point.

 

My host told me V/P has been sold out and it's been crazy this past weekend and week.

 

The ramen was as good as it looks. Their pork belly is top notch (both the buns and the ramen). And the Wagyu Gyoza at SushiSamba may be the best thing on the menu. I liked one of the rolls a lot (sao Paolo roll). The other was more like a seafood salad almost... wasn't as big of a fan of that.

 

National Association of Broadcasters will do that. I'm just happy the biggest gambler in our group could get free rooms still for this weekend! The conference wraps up tomorrow I think.

 

I assumed it was a convention or multiple conventions but didn't know which one. I booked mine a long time ago for this weekend. Who's the biggest gambler on the board? Lol Are you staying at V/P Tring?

So bellagio ran out of cabs this morning. Long line, so grabbed an uber. He beat me to the pick up point. On my way to NYNY to take yet more calls. Eventually I'll actually get to the convention

 

And we're back. Lobby bar at NYNY again

 

Sounds like the makings of a movie to me...

So, an update about yesterday.

Went to mandalas for the first day of the conference. Light day overall, and ended up catching the Shark Reef on our way out



After we went back to the hotel for a couple of hours of free time and email catch up. Then we made the walk through Monte Carlo and aria for dinner at PUB. Sorry, no pics (I failed). Had the corned beef platter and the flight of local beers, and enjoyed both.

After we went through cosmo and bellagio, caught the conservatory and then the fountain show on the way out.

We crossed over to Bally's and took a slow walk back down the strip back to NYNY. No gambling, and really nothing to show. I enjoyed myself playing tour guide.

Today is a busier day at the conference. Not sure if I'll have any updates, but I'll see if I can squeeze some gaming in.

 

Just came down the escalator, and Fabio was behind me. Vegas is weird sometimes.

So, ended up grabbing dinner at hash house. Umm slightly too much food. The biscuit alone would have been enough. The fried chicken Benedict? As you can see, I barely made a dent





We had started at harrahs, then hit linq, flamingo, and split up at the Cromwell. Now I'm going to watch one more fountain show, then head back to the room for the night
