These trip reports are just the greatest ever, I have to thank you for helping me through the 11 months a year I'm not in Vegas :nworthy:

I started reading them at 2p2 and worked my way over here where I've been reading everyone's.

I so wish I was able to hop on a plane once a month for a long weekend, not really possible living in the UK.

I do get out for a nice long trip each summer to coincide with the WSOP though. Only 3 months until trip number 4 :licklips:

I'm gonna utilise your roulette strategy this summer as I don't normally play many house games, just Poker. Hopefully I'll hit a roll

Best of luck for the trip BJ hope you crush it!!

Thanks Den and others for good wishes....i have developed my detailed itinerary and have a plan in mind!

    present-Thurs: suffer
    Fri....

    work until 2:30
    drive to Ohare
    cocktails
    board
fly to vegas: 5something to 7:32 or 5:-1 to 7:03 depending on the online schedule vs what I got emailed
there will not be the standard airport big mac or lite choice of 10pc chicken mcnuggets as I'm taking the earlier 5ish flight rather than 7ish and first class will be serving some sort of meal

7:15 HET limo to Flamingo, check into GO room, drop bags
walk up to NYNY, check in, get $275 freeplay, see what the dining comp is
cancel whatever credit card I used to check in at NYNY---LOL, they are notorious for underrating and charging after RFB--eff them

go to high limit, tip cocktail waitress $20, get pack of stoges and drink. slowly insert $20 and $5 bills and activate freeplay on $5 progressive where I hit for $10K on $300 buy in October 24, 2009. Hit $32K+ royal, take check.

cab to Wynn, play $1,000 worth of $2 DDB VP. Hit $8K royal. Take check.

walk to Palazzo. Buy in $1,500 on $25 BJ table. Cash out $7,500 3 hrs later

walk to Flamingo, Buy in $500 on $10 ms stud, hit $4,000 4OAK. cash out.

    go to bed

    Saturday

    noon...hit pool
6pm....eat 21 chicken wings at Flamingo Diamond Lounge, yell WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!!!!! scream HOOKERS AND BLOOOOOW as they drag me out to the street.

taxi to wynn, wire excess cash home. buy in $2,500 $5 DDB, hit $20K royal, take check.

walk to Palazzo, buy in $5,000 on $100 BJ table. Cash out $25,000 3 hrs later, have Palazzo wire home.

walk to Flamingo, buy in $2,500 on ms stud, play quarters. hit 4OAK on $50 bet for $20K. take check and ask for free buffet.

Stock GO room with hookers and blow, or hookers who blow, or blowers who hook, or all 3. Test occupancy limit of Go Room. Call Security and pay fine for broken shower glass.

    Tip EMT $100 for removing.....

just for full disclosure since you are a poker player I am sure you are well aware that U.S. roulette is a 5.26 house advantage carny game and I play just isolated spins, rarely more than 5-6 at a shot and rarely more than 20 a day. of course if you play dollars or less its not such a beat down so longer play can be fun.

and thanks for the nice comments, greatly appreciated!

Stock Sell Recommendation: Short sell or buy puts on all vegas casino stocks, it is gonna be an earnings TRAIN WRECK for Vegas this weekend!!!!

Stock Buy Recommendation: The company that makes Neon signs because 2 or 3 properities will be ordering emergency replacements for their signs, but with a new spelling.

I fully expect to spend Sunday morning on the roof of Wynn doing a commerical just above the new BeeeJay sign---"Next time, we do this in the Lobby!!!!" (except I'll be talking to a barely legal stripper down under the rafters......bam chica bow wow!!!!) VEGAS BABY!!!!!!:evillaugh:wink2::evillaugh

Damn, I'm getting excited for the trip and it's not mine. Although if even 20% of the positive thinking gambling comes through, I'm re-evaluating my game plan and ditching the magic meatball I borrowed from the daughter for determining the right spots to play.

I didn't know the exact odds difference but a few guys who actually play the tables are always bitching about the 00 when we're in Vegas haha.

I probably play a couple times a trip and the same in UK when I'm really wasted, so I'll prob be just doing a hit and run as we move along the strip too.

I'll downsize it proportionately so it's costing me about $50 a spin or something and obviously throw in the standard 'Hookers & Blow' battlecry each time I hit :evillaugh

Have to have multiple plans, how else can we adjust when the hot cocktail waitress is filling us up, like we're a hummer going on a cross country roadtrip.

Plus it makes for good stories, and in truth, I'm just looking for a plan to follow that provides bankroll for my summer trip, as I don't think I'm going to be able to make it to November without another one in between.

Macker, I think we're stuck drinking without Beejay in April, which just means we have to tear it up enough to have good stories to tell the next time we do get to drink together.

"The major event will be the Garth Brooks concert at the Wynn. "

quote from TA post about how busy this weekend coming is gonna be. love the part about the vacuum convention!

Garth Brooks plays in a theater that holds maybe 1,500 people. Unless you're standing at the exit door when it's over I wouldn't think there would be much if an impact. :)

There's a vacuum dealers convention in town. That sucks. :)

And there's a convention of 40,000 ending on the 25th.

Also Spring Break starts for a lot of people where school systems have off the week before Easter, you may find a few more families in town than usual.

And the NCAA tourney continues, with less interest than people who head to Las Vegas en masse for the first rounds but still a lot of interest.

Something to look forward too......So far this week the highlight has been winning $320 at the local casino and getting a $5 per bale rebate on the insulation we bought for the rental house at Menards.

Obviously BeeJay's weekend will be a bit livlier than mine....................
