Grinding for me after a night of drinking is not what what it was when I was a younger lad. If JR mentions grinding in the bedroom after a night of drinking in Vegas, it was probably my teeth while I was in a drunken slumber as I dream of all the Royals I have missed.

They just announced the inbound won’t deplane until the “threat of lightning” has left the area. It literally looks like the nicest day of summer in Chicago. So completely laughable. I’m in no rush to get home. PLEASE CANCEL this flight [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

Blonde on the left is cute, but looks like a one-way ticket to chlamydiaville! Just saying!

Aria vodka options HUGE DOWNGRADE, forgot to mention.

Skyy or Absolute are highest comp level vodkas!!! Total joke. Can’t see staying at Aria now! [emoji35][emoji35][emoji35]

That's ridiculous cheapness by Aria- even at the lowly Mirage a few weeks ago was still no problem getting Ciroc or Goose at sports bar while mashing buttons.

Yeah, couldn't agree more, I guess the JUST implemented this weekend. We had no trouble Friday and by Sunday it was no go at all bars, tables, and on the floor. You could see the pain in the eyes of the bartenders and cocktail servers. I mean I'm sitting here playing $2/$5 VP at $10-$25 a shot and they can't cover even a decent vodka like Ketel which is had been on the floor for a while. Plenty of Peach Ciroc at Venetian/Palazzo!!

Could really be the start of Liquor end of days at MGM properties - between this news, and the various greasy MGM 2020 initiatives the value proposition is becoming really shitty, and we could be about 12-18 months away from it possibly being non-existent. We still seem to get whatever we need booze wise at the Mirage with no hassle, but likely only because we know most of the bartenders, but good luck if you don't.

Blah. But googling the price difference, I'm not that shocked. :(

Sounds like it's time to give Uncle Sheldon that semi Boner Deluxe up the ass for that Peach Ciroc!

    That vodka situation is egregious.

That said I never really trust that the booze I’ll get on the floor is what I ask for, so I usually stick to bottles of beer and then if I move into a high limit room I ask for top shelf (or I’ll ask “What is the best scotch/cognac/whatever you’d be willing to comp me?”). Aria HL room has always had some excellent options in the past, though I’m usually broke by the time it arrives and taking that Macallan 18 or whatever back out to the main floor with the hoi polloi where I belong.

That is not great news. Makes you wonder if this is part of the MGM 2020 cost cutting project. It's short sighted, especially at the levels you were playing.

No problem getting Ketel at Gustav's Bar at Paris at 25 cents!
