Fair or unfair of the Plaza, a lot of great entertainment has been had. I suspect a lot of people are as puzzled/amused as me.

This still has nothing on the "$1400 lost at a 7-11" string. That one still has me scratching my head

He is not a poor guy losing $1500 dollars. His 2 girlfriends each lost $500 and (if they had of played the promo within the rules) the Plaza would have given them their $500 back. No loss there. Yes the OP lost $500 of his own money while trying to scam the system and for that he requested a $300 comp.

He was extremely greedy and perhaps a little too full of himself. He put a target on his head right there by asking for anything for his supposed $1500 loss when the Plaza had already said they would reimburse the $500 x 2 that was lost (provided they followed the rules). They probably would have never even looked into his play if he hadn't asked for a $300 comp for a $500 loss. I have no sympathy for the OP.

Ahh, no, they would not have "given" him $500 back, they would have given him $250 in free play( I believe it's dolled out over time), we all know what free play is worth. Imagine how horrible it would have been for the Plaza if they had honored their side of the bargain, and given that guy(who lost $1500 in no time), $250 in free play on certain machines. He would have lost it and the whole thing would be done.

Yea, and the nerve of the guy to dare ask for a comp after losing $1500. Apparently he doesn't understand that the Plaza just doesn't give out comps that easy. Quite the business strategy, encourage bums to sleep in the casino, but if some guy comes in and dumps money fast, we dont want him!

Yup, and a guy who Dumps $1500 and asks for a couple of comped meals is a scammer!

I don't think you really understand the situation. Perhaps you shouldn't post in threads where you don't really understand what's going on.

Let me see, he's in vegas with girlfriends who don't gamble, he see's there's a decent promotion at the plaza, if you lose $500 we'll pay you back, , he uses their cards to sign up and proceeds to lose fast, he figures "what's the harm in asking" so he asks for a comp, They treat him like shit and then he 'dares' to go back the next day to try to get his free play, they throw him out. Did I miss anything?

I'm going to close this thread as both sides have had their say and it's turning into something else now.
