They will play in empty stadiums so as far as that goes, it will be a normal season with fewer games.

I think the MLB owners have a lot of leverage right now because the NBA has not restarted & their Florida situation is problematic. No alternative sports for the MLB to lose their audience to.

The MLB owners can either have Manfred propose a 50-60 game schedule or just lolligag around until a 50-60 game schedule is the only thing that’s feasible.

Would be interesting to see a sports book movement on opening day line for 2020 ( when play starts). With all the moving parts daily / weekly it would be like watching a tennis match. They need some agreement soon if it will happen this year.

I read something today that there will be a season but that it will be capped i think at 30 games. I might be incorrect on that #.

Huge STL Cardinals fan for 50 years. Each spring and summer, it is the soundtrack to my life. But after all this, it has left such a bad taste, I don't really care at this point. If they come back for that short of a season, it will be weird and awkward and I presume not as enjoyable.

With all that's happened in our country lately, millionaires arguing with billionaires is SO distasteful.

A lot can happen in a month’s time. Hopefully they are able to play without issues and I can enjoy watching games without feeling guilty.

@rooster42000 - man, you’re a die hard sports fan. If you had to pick one, what’s your favorite (pro football)?

    Mine’s pro basketball.
