What's the easiest way to get to the Aria buffet from Bally's? Will be walking with Mom in a wheel chair.

IMHO, take a cab or Uber. I am 60+ with bad knees and I wouldn't walk it. It's only a mile, but you are going uphill to the North Valet parking area.

This is a long walk. Your best bet is a cab/uber.

If you really want to walk, you're talking about getting across the Strip, which means taking elevators and going over a bridge. You start by walking to Crystals mall. Then you walk through the mall following signs for Aria. Then you need to get up to where the buffet is (which is not on the same level as the casino.)

There is no good shortcut/whatever. You could combine this with something else that you want to, like the Bellagio conservatory, which is on the way to the tram that you could take to Aria.

I'm in good health and can walk, but I'll be pushing a wheelchair. I thought about checking out the conservatory on the way. Looked at floor plans of Bellagio and Aria. Guess I'll weave through Bellagio and take the tram. I checked out on maps different pathways, but nothing looked easy. Didn't know if anyone knew any shortcuts. But on the brighter side, I'll walk off all those buffets.

The challenges are you can only cross the Strip at certain points, and Aria is pretty far back from the Strip since it sits in the back of city center. There's no real shortcut that lets you fix these two things in an easy fashion.

Also, I understand you probably have a reason to go to the buffet at Aria, but the walk to Wicked Spoon at Cosmo would be a little shorter.

Cutting through Bellagio would be my choice of routes. Then cut through Vdara and in the North Valet entrance to Aria.

Wouldn't discount the idea of a cab or Uber/Lyft, though.

Think we'll walk over and spend some time checking things out as we go and get a ride back. Thanks for all the suggestions.

If you have plenty of time and want to see some sights along the way.... cross from Ballys to Bellagio via the overpass. Wander through the casino to the back end. Go out the back way to Vdara and then into Aria. There is only one place you MIGHT have an issue - the elevator in front of Ballys up to the crossover. Pretty sure there are no curbs to deal with on this route.

The alternate route does include some street crossings and depending on the day of the week can be busy. Go through Paris, or out the front of Ballys. Go towards Planet Ho and cross over to Cosmo. Then upstairs and through Crystals and into Aria.

Good idea. After checking out the sights and enjoying the buffet, you both might be a little tired. This is something I would do if I was in the same situation.

Mom (with scooter) and I have done both routes. The route thru Bellagio takes a while but if it's warm you will be inside more where it's cool.

We preferred to go thru Paris. We then crossed at street level by PH. Went in to Cosmo & used lobby elevator near front to get to 2nd level (just for chance to view Cosmo). Then out door & into Crystals 2nd level. Walked straight back. Went to & around drive area I believe on first level of Crystals into Aria directly into main lobby. No need to take tram from Crystals as Aria is right behind you.

On return we went across overwalk to Walgreens & back via surface street to Paris. We knew if Walgreens elevator was out we could go right back to Cosmo & return the same way we came.

Scooter would be a blessing for you. You can rent at your hotel - usually from concierge. About $150-160 for a 5 to 7 day rental. More per day for a shorter term.

Try 702scooters.com i rent my scooter for 5-7 days for 100$. They deliver right to the hotel bell hop and pick it when you leave.

For the original OP I would walk cross the street bridge to Bellagio walk throught the casino and to the back and tram it. Or like others have said go out theback to Vdara then to Aria.

Mom's not too keen on a scooter. Hasn't had to use one yet and afraid of mowing down pedestrians. Her hands are bad and afraid she won't be able to control it. I think we'll walk thru Bellagio and tram it like you suggested.
