This is a wedding trip. We're talking 4 nights here, then switching for Thurs/Fri night, Sat wedding then 4 more nights downtown

Jubilee with Strip View would run $500 all-in. 430 sq ft with hopefully Eiffel Tower view.
Luxor Tower would be $600 all in but would be almost twice the space. And also just $10 per night than the much smaller Pyramid suites

Are those rates with a players club card or have you never been to Vegas before?

Bally's just because of the location. Luxor is way to far down for me.

My level of play is laughably low. I don't register even on CET's low to the ground radar

If you value the room, I'd go Luxor, if you value access to the Strip, I'd go Bally's.

I like Ballys more then I do Luxor just by location and I think Ballys rooms are nicer then Luxor. I also feel isolated at Luxor but I just don't fancy the South end Of The Strip much. They are both good properties so you'll be happy with either one.

I hope you are not just assuming that & have actually logged in & checked dates on the totalrewards website.

ABSOLUTELY agree. I am hard core Mlife/Cosmo. I had $600 coin-in TOTAL for 2016 with CET...but I can get up to 5 nights free in one stay at CET hotels, including Paris (just not Caesars).

Check your calendar or the TR site. I am not even "low to the ground" I am subterranean with CET and have free rooms...check it, don't presume! :D (And don't just run offers, look up the generic calendar and see what pops up...)

I think you will be in Vegas long enough to enjoy everything it has to offer. Being it is your wedding, you want a better room. For that, I would choose Luxor.

Are you sure dcrawf?? If you haven't checked, I would suggest you login/setup your Total Rewards account and then check the availability calendar. You might be pleasantly surprised. We are taking our daughter/husband along this trip, I called hoping to get a 'friends and family' type rate for them added to our comped room and discovered that they comped 3 nights for them. They have each only ever gambled once in their lives, and that was in Ballys Atlantic City after Christmas for about 30 minutes each. Give it a shot, you might be surprised.

I have literally ZERO points according to CET. Undoubtedly accurate, because I haven't been to Vegas in 18 months and my local casino isnt one of theirs

I vote for your Luxor suite. If you do ANY entertaining for your wedding prep you will love the extra space.

I stayed one night in a Tower Luxury Suite at Luxor and thought it was pretty sweet.

The view of the Eiffel Tower from the Jubilee rooms is absolutely spectacular!

It makes NO difference how many points you have - seriously- did you put your dates in the calendar & at least try?

Yeah, don't sweat points. I have five comp nights in Vegas based on two trips to Tunica this past summer in which I bet $5/hand at blackjack playing for 20-30 minutes roughly, but no more than an hour each trip. I also played a $20 through video poker. After I booked those rooms, I am not showing any other comps but I expect to see some after my Vegas trip.

I booked two nights at Platinum for the 950 sq ft. My people won't be arriving until at least Wednesday for Saturday wedding, more likely Thursday

Did you book the platinum because of the room size?

It was a factor. Also there is a Strip view and the rate was comparable to the lower/midrange Strip options. Its like a 5 minute walk down Flamingo.

Everybody was right! Thanks for the advice/push on going through the TR site. Not super big savings but dropped my costs by over 20%. Pretty much a free night!

This was also part of the rationale for going with Platinum as it's right next door so makes for an easy transfer. But now I'm seeing Aria/Vdara for just $40/night extra over Platinum. Worth it?
