Anyone with any current info of how Bahamas Atlantis Resort has fared or recovered from Hurricane last year? Looking into taking advantage of CET Diamond stay this spring. Any trip reports or reviews from someone that has taken the trip trough CET? Worth it? Over or underrated? Thank you all in advance!

Nassau was, for the most part, unaffected. Most of the damage was 60-90 miles away. The Bahamas are huge!

So, I'm laying in a bed coming to you live from Atlantis right now, lol. We got in yesterday and from what I've seen no harm no foul here. Place was bustling last night.

I will say, as I read before arriving, prices are a bit silly. We ( boyfriend and I) grabbed a 12 inch pizza last night, after taxes and auto gratuity it came to 29.30. That was with out any beverage or anything "extra".

Thanks to @JFO , we had an excellent taxi driver from the airport to the hotel. He kindly stopped at the grocery store and liquor store for us while driving. Let me warn you, the grocery store is a little pricey too. For example, at home my bf always takes a thing of canned chicken  to work ( among other things). Anyway, said chicken is about 1.50 in NJ, here the same exact can is 4.24 lol.
I paid 1.50 for one red delicious apple so just be warned. Also, know, we were warned by the check in girl, the in room mini bars are charged ( and are very sensitive) if you move or touch anything in it. Interestingly, there was not even one in our room. Just as well really.

I ran through my free 100 slot play, which turned into just under 40. I played at a 15. Bj table ( i want to say it was 6 deck). Hung in for a little over two hours wth average bet coming in around 30/ph. Lost 200. Cocktail service was ok, not stellar but better than average. Did like the fact that I could play two hands, at table minimum. It was a 3:2, dealer hit s17, all things considered it was ok. I only noticed one 10. table (6:5). Two or three 15.'s, many 25's, several 100's and a few 500's.

Kevin, our taxi driver, told us about a little show they do in Marina Village on Saturday nights, so that was quick but entertaining.

Here's a few random photos. Will explore the water park/ beach etc today.

When we were looking out from our room yesterday I saw this little rainbow. I'm hoping it brings me a little pot of gold while here!

If I was packing to come right now I'd either A bring my little portable Keurig or B those Foldgers coffees that are like tea bags, some non refrigerated little creamers and sugar, just saying. There is a small coffee pot in the room. So hot water is doable. We actually picked up some little oatmeal containers at the store yesterday, so that will be breakfast today, lol.

@MTShooter , Here is an info thread I through together for the 2019 offer:

    https://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/index.php?threads/cet-atlantis-paradise-island-2019.158527/

And here is my trip report from last summer:

After the hurricane, I texted our taxi driver Kevin (that @Happygirl21 is also using) and he told me Nassau Island was fine, but some of the other Islands not so much.

@Happygirl21 , are you going to post your trip report on this thread?

@JFO not sure. We're not doing anything super exciting so I don't want to bore anybody. If something amazing happens, maybe. Lol

Today's highlight trying conch salad and fritters. We're real thrill seekers!
