    My Trip Report

    Oh indeed... Quick turnaround from my last trip in August. I haven't taken two trips to Vegas in such a short period of time, life is good!

    Purpose of the trip is to introduce my nephew to Vegas. This was supposed to occur several times in the past but I was concerned it would end with me in a babysitting role. My nephew can party with the best of them but I think he has matured a bit over the last few years...famous last words? Who am I kidding, I kind of like the wildcard factor and as long as he doesn't get our room robbed by some random tinder hookup, it's all good, haha. The positive side is that I know he will be able to hang and then some.

    Plans. Lots of gambling, drinking, and sports. I love football weekends in Vegas and it's been a few years since I've been out there for one. Walk the strip so jr can take in all the different casinos. Play a few hours at CET on nephews card to hopefully get him setup for some future low roller comps. Trip to Palomino, going to a strip club in the age of the rona seems like something I need to do, haha.

    Flying out tomorrow afternoon on Frontier. Will probably be my last flight with them, flight to/from FL a few weeks ago was awful. Positive is that it is direct and when I booked Delta didn't have a direct return.

    Staying at MGM. Comped stay well executive suite which seems to suit our needs.

    Busy evening ahead. I have yet to pack a thing and have multiple husband/dad things to attend to. Work is almost over and cocktail hour is almost upon us. Again, life is good!

    Important packing underway. Was able to fit 6 bourbons in with the toiletries, I’ll call that a win

    If anyone wants to throw out their best picks for NCAAF games I’m all ears. I have been really solid with NFL this season but awful at college. So far I’m going with;

    Bama -21
    Cincinnati W
    NE +26
    OK -6.5

    Need to research a bit more tomorrow but I’m open to suggestions.

    Does anyone ever sleep well the night before a Vegas trip? I...do....not. Whenever I wake up in the middle of the night I hear music playing in my head and I'm ready to go. So, I've been up since about 4am. Oh well, I'll make it work

    I am a big fan of Old Forester. Might be one of the great under-rated everyday bourbons

    They started boarding 20 minutes early just as we were served fresh beers, pounded those, ran to the bathroom, boarded. Bourbons in my pocket. Let’s go!
