    Thanks all!!

At the airport at the gate now.
Checking in couldn’t be done online as I had to go see an agent to verify vaccination records and PLF for Belgium. Went smoothly, maybe 25 mins in line.
TSA was real fast, took maybe 7-8 minutes.

Now going to have a sub, I’m hungry.

Final count has me (all casinos combined) $550 up on about $40,000 coin in on slots and $5,500 on VP.
That’s a, legit, win to me!

@ColoVegPlayer Are you Vegas enough if you already booked a weekend ‘placeholder’ reservations (with Harrah’s, got a great room comped over the weekend) whilst waiting to board your plane home? :D

I see myself coming back in September. Only thing making me doubt is that it will be solo…

I am always tempted to book while waiting to get on the plane, but usually I like to wait until the next month or two to see if my MGM offers get updated.

You know, it's only solo if you don't hang out with some VMBers! Organize/find a meetup/slot pull and then you aren't solo!

Well, I’m certainly going to wait until my MGM and Cosmo-offers are going to renew. I certainly am not set on staying at Harrah’s yet, but if I see a studio-type room with no resort fees over a weekend, I am just tempted to snag it so when the weekend gets crazy expensive for whatever reason, I have already a decent room booked.

I did play 1 day at CET, my usual 500 TC, so I doubt anything on the room front with them (I don’t have offers, just comp rooms) will change.

I am also curious if Wynn will send me something.

    I’ll update here :)

Wait what… how is this possible?

I literally finished playing 30 hours ago.
Surely this can’t be an offer based on my last stay/play?

Now that you're home and settled in...

What was your favorite resort? And what activity/thing was your favorite this trip?

What's your tier points at right now? And what was it before your stay?

    That is a very difficult question… :D
All 3 are fantastic and I enjoyed my time at all of them.

Cosmo has an amazing slot floor (which is still my number one game), nice rooms with a unique balcony, great food in most price ranges and has a great atmosphere going that I love. The pool is also decent.

Mirage is a Vegas staple and I’m very glad I got to stay there. The casino was very alive with a good atmosphere and in general I liked the music they played. Slot selection was a bit less, but more than good enough to keep me entertained. Bonus is you can play at other MGM resorts and have a change of scenery. We were fond of the room but of course it’s a suite. The base rooms are a tad less…
The pool was lovely, and food options were decent enough but not as good as Cosmo’s.

Encore is probably the most luxurious and beautiful of the three. It has the best base rooms of all 3 (and maybe of the whole strip) and just has that ‘feel’ you can’t describe. It was a base room and it still felt very special to us. The Encore slot floor is kinda boring and very small, but luckily the short walk to Wynn was enough to keep us entertained.
The pool area is beyond beautiful and well kept. It was so tranquil, ‘lounging’ around was truly the feeling.
It has two downsides to me: it’s location is very very far away from everything, and it has no cheap options to eat. And it doesn’t even have to be ‘cheap’, but sometimes I’m just craving a pizza or a burger.
To be fair it was the only resort where we had two minor quirks: first of all the host talking to me like she sh*ts fresh roses (I mean, I’ve gotten no before, where they are polite - I thank them for my time and am on my way) and secondly the guy (don’t even know what you call his job, he ‘arranges’ traffic at the entrance) balking at my rideshare driver for taking the wrong lane out of two when there wss literally one other car there - again, do it politely man, my Lyft driver had started driving one month ago…
You could (but this could also be a false observation from me) also notice that they don’t really like rideshares and prefer taxis. To bad, I paid surge $58 for a rideshare with pleasure to go to the airport at crazy am before taking a cheaper taxi. I really don’t like taxis.

Now, all the above may make it look like it wasn’t a good stay, but that’s not the case - Encore was also amazing and I’ll be back (but max 2 nights at a Time and treat it like a resort destination where I stay put on site).

Just got an updated Cosmo-offer: 3 nights almost anytime (so including weekends), valid until August 10, up to a One Bedroom non FV (or Terrace Studio with FV), with $50 Identity Play and $50 Dining included.

I also have the Sterling tier night to apply now.

    Happy!

Any chance the Wynn offer you are seeing was already there before you checked out? There could be another one coming next month with better numbers. But I can't say for sure. I just think that halfway to Platinum (or almost halfway) would merit more than $50 FP.

Yeah, when I went to check in detail, I think it was.

I’ve gotten a consistent offer every month and so far, it was $25 Freecredit, $100 RESORTcredit and discounted nights @119 weeknights and @259 weekendnights.

The last offer like this was valid through May 2.

The new offer now is valid through June 2.

I considered the above offer my ‘teaser’ after giving them some play back in December 2021. Maybe they improve if you don’t take them up on it.

    We’ll see what follows :)

I’d been getting that same $119 for a 2nd night offer too, and now a 2 night comp like you did. Offer code DUSKS21 for me. My last Encore stay was December & haven’t played them once since.
It’s a generic marketing offer, you’ll probably get a better one
