It's in the minus 30s up here. So cold it doesn't really matter if you are talking Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Yea, big arctic cold front pushing down this way. 18F this morning and that's ok, (well not ok) but that damn wind at 20, gusting to 30 mph. Wind chills at zero or below. Even the dog didn't want to walk this morning. We made one lap of our normal four and called it quits. I'm not acclimated yet after the wonderful, warm fall we had.

Below zero last night and tonight. It warmed up to a balmy 19 degrees today. :(

Two years. Two years until I can retire (hopefully!!) and move somewhere warmer.

I'm with Bubba. It's cold out there. It was even colder than that in Austin today. And, all you crazy people that live in areas where they have to put that weird "-" symbol in front of the temp.... MOVE... THE BOARDERS ARE OPEN. :evillaugh:

Keep Austin weird is a neat and applicable attitude if you consider the 60's and 70's to be the norm and desired. But with the borders open boarders are welcome. Just don't stay. Hahaha

It's 30' in NYC and I'm going bike riding in an hour, plus it will be windy. This may be my last ride of the year, weekends get busy. It takes a lot of work to ride in the cold.

Started at 2 degrees (F) this morning, the mercury topped out at 10 degrees this afternoon.
Almost warmed up enough to unbutton another button on the flannel shirt. Almost...

I stayed toasty inside a local mall attending the Christmas arts and crafts show!

11 degrees this morning south of Boston---damn cold since we were 50-60 last week. The body just isn't used to that much temp difference. When we usually get low temps in Feb, we have had some gradual decline so we are ready for single digits...not so this week. Looks like that was the last of the wicked cold for a few days.

It is 57 tomorrow. Maybe better. I will post and am guessing 15 will show due to a mild state of claustrophobia being home bound so long. No kibler cookie man.

It was 46 Saturday morning but now has warmed up 17 degrees over that at 0600 and topped out at 79 today. Going up to the lower 80's tomorrow with little chance of rain.

It broke 70 F today in Houton. I love it!

I grew up in the upper Midwest... If I *ever* see snow again it will be too soon!

If you watched the Giants/Cowboys game last night I guess you saw the little bit of snow up there. Down here rain.

8 inches of snow on Sunday and today the high is supposed to be 8F.

I must officially look old now. It snowed Sat night into Sunday morning and stopped. So I hauled out the 8hp snowblower and did the drive and sidewalk. Then it started snowing again and stopped. So back out with the snowblower. And of course it started snowing again. I told my wife I'd go back out after the Packer game on Sunday night. After the game, I got lazy and just said I'll do it Monday morning. Well damn if my neighbors from two doors away didn't come over and shovel my entire drive while the game was on. Like I say, I must look old and helpless.
