I speculate they are finally becoming “CONNECTED” lol
Ie: they’ll finally be like CET or MLife, where if you’re a good player at Sams Town, you can book rooms at Orleans, etc, etc.
How they haven’t done this YET boggles my mind...other than they are stuck in the 1970’s...but from the average age of their employees and clientele...I’d say yes..yes they are.

Hey. Watch that age thing bub. It's a segment we will all get to experience once we make it that far. Some of us look back upon it fondly.

25,000-249,999. that seems like such a large span for 2nd tier. this is probably changing.
BTW, I have never heard of Onyx until now. and I read these forums a lot. are they that tight-lipped about it?

I am wondering if I should cash out my points. they mat tinker with that ratio. I will be arriving on the 8th or 9th of this week.
I rarely use them for food even with the 40% discount.

That's a good point. I'll be there next week and I'll either cash some out or just use it as free play.

I don't believe the rumor of another tier Titanium.
all their tier names are gem stone, titanium is metal. doesn't make sense.

I have over $500 on my Sapphire card, have never cashed out because I like to use it for food for me and friends, gift shop, liquor, etc...
If this goes to the worse (which I suspect), I guess I will cash everything out when I go in October.

The idea of a Titanium card seems utterly pointless when almost no one has the fabled Onyx card to begin with.

I would not be surprised it they lowered the amount to get Emerald, and cut the Emerald perks, shifting a lot of them to the Onyx card, which I assume would be higher than the present Emerald , but just fold a lot of the Emerald benefits into it, with some new perks.

I am most worried about the Sapphire 2x points and the Emerald 3x points along with the expiration dates on the card, and the YAH promo, which they fooled with before.
A 6-month expiration on tier level for non-locals, and the resulting loss in comp accrual, would probably run me off, as I suspect it might for a lot of out of town Boyd players.

Nice find on the card levels. I found the Boyd designer's website. I noticed the progression of diamonds on the card as well. I wonder about the difference in value between Sapphire and Amber. It would be nice to have a tier level between Sapphire and Emerald that is more attainable. I find it hard to achieve Emerald status unless I make several trips out to Tunica in a year. That $0.30 a point on slots and $0.60 on VP really adds up instead of $1 a point in Vegas.

I wonder if the diamonds are indicators of point multipliers? It lines up with what they are now at 1x for Ruby 2x for Sapphire and 3x for Emerald

I hope someone outside boyd is watching this thread. I would like to see a side by side comparison amongst various players clubs.
    i.e., I put in 0-24,999 dollars a year
    25,000-249,999 $’s a year
    -250,000 +
what does that give you at what club? Not just so many tc’s or whatever but WHAT does it get you?
    Thanks.

Hopefully, the rate of exchange will not change and you can hang onto your points if you choose to do so.

If the change of rate changes I would expect a deadline to cash / use points at old ratio. If not that’s bs. You can’t allow people to achieve a level or points at one standard and change the standard overnight. That would seem disingenuous.
