    My Trip Report

Well, I simply couldn't wait until New Year's to go to Mecca, so I'm now going Aug 19-23!!!! YES!!!!!!!

This trip is a pre-2nd year law school fun run with one of my classmates, a friend of her's from UofA law school, and some friends of his.

This is going to be the party trip! We're taking advantage of Vegashost's VIP weekend, so we'll be clubbing like crazy! I also hope to take advantage of the great deal he has going with the strip clubs [IMG] I'm in my early 30's and they're all early 20's so I hope they have enough stamina built up to keep up with me [IMG]

We're driving out and will leave Albuquerque at 6 am on Thursday the 19th and drive home Monday the 23rd to make it home in time to start out 2nd year of law school on Tuesday the 24th. Doesn't that sound good? :D

Not sure where we'll stay, it will depend on the final number of people going, but I think if only 4 of us go it will be either Mirage or Monte Carlo (neither of which I've ever stayed at so all opinions welcome). If more than 4 go I think I'll take advantage of the good Venetian deal going. (stayed there during the porn convention, but that was several years ago so opinions here are welcome too)

I'm going to drag everyone to see Big Elvis, even if they don't think they want to go. My friend and I will spend some time at the pool, so all pool info welcome. Any other suggestions would be most welcome. I'm so excited! The only sad part is hubby isn't coming. He's not a Vegas freak like me and says it's bad enough I'm dragging him out in December :( Hey check out my counter!!!

If a pool is important, of the three hotels you mentioned I'd rank them Mirage, Monte Carlo, Venetian. (and the only one I haven't stayed in is Mirage  ) Venetian is nice in the rooms but I didn't like the casino, the mall, or the pool. Monte Carlo has fridges available (free, if available, from housekeeping) I know Venetian has the mini-bars--haven't heard lately if people have been asking housekeeping to remove everything so they can be used as a fridge. The brew pub at Monte Carlo is fun--good beer, good food (huge portions--those fridges come in handy!) Have a blast!!

  3. Sounds fun Sin, Im sure your going to have a great time. Im in my late 20's and out of your choices I would stay at the Mirage. Its classy, real nice pool area. But then again Ive never stayed at the Venetian, have heard mix reviews but its all about if you like those mega-size resorts. Either way you can't lose in my opinion. By the way what kind of deal is vegas-host offering? My wife and I are headed to Vegas in Early September, the 9th to be exact for 4 nites.
Well have fun...hey how can i get a counter?? [IMG]

Tx, if you go to the non-vegas section the first post will tell you how to put up a timer.

If you look at vegas nightlife i think vegashost put his deal up under the strip clubs for couples topic. I don't want to mis-quote the offer so here ya go

alcohol is free for the two hours at Leopard only, I should've been more clear.

For $75 bucks I can set you up at cheetahs and leopard. That includes admission, transportation and free beer and well drinks!!! yes you heard it right.

It starts off with you being picked up and taken to Leopard, while there for two hours, you'll enjoy free beer and well drinks. Then you'll be taken over to Cheetahs where you'll have to fend for yourself.
