Just a quick note here to let you all know that I'm aware of problems we are currently having with Cloudflare and I'm working to resolve them.

First, I was hearing that some members were getting a message that they were "BLOCKED" from replying to certain threads, but not blocked from others.

Now I'm hearing that people are getting a CAPTCHA request to check a box that says "I'm not a robot" when they just visit the homepage for the forum.

NONE of this is supposed to be happening and I'm trying to resolve this with CloudFlare.

Please let me know by sending me a PM or using the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page to let me know if you are currently having issues getting access to the board.

And, if anyone is fluent in CloudFlare, please tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong. :bang:

CAPTCHA for each new browser session when first trying to load http://www.vegasmessageboard.com/forums/ (I dump cookies automatically when a session closes). Fortunately it's only requiring a single correct captcha screen to get in, not a 5 minute ordeal worth like some sites.

But yeah, some switch got toggled somewhere. :D

I use Firefox and it's giving me a link to add a Privacy Pass extension:
The Privacy Pass extension provides users with the ability to create and sign cryptographically blind tokens for websites that support the Privacy Pass protocol. The extension generates passes containing cryptographically "blinded" tokens that are signed by the web server when a challenge page is solved. These tokens are "unblinded" and stored by the extension for future use; they are redeemed automatically when a future challenge page is seen. The "blinding" procedure means that signed and redeemed tokens are cryptographically unlinkable from the server perspective and, as such, are suitable for usage in conjunction with external privacy measures (such as VPNs).

I am hopeful that I've just been able to disable this.

Please let me know if you're still getting the CAPTCHA request. If you've already checked the "I'm not a robot" box, it should mean you won't see the message again for a month. If you got the request after I've posted this message, please let me know.

Yesterday our technoids were saying that there were a whole bunch of reported attacks against some of the cloud services. I wonder if this is related?

Its getting a lot harder to have any kind of high traffic site without a BSCS in cyber-security.

I still have not resolved the issue of some posts being blocked as SQL Insertions despite being plain text, but i did get the captcha thing cleared up.

Phew.. now, where is that cocktail waitress? She never comes through here.
