Thanks, I saw another post about this but there was no source so I didn't know if it was true. Gateway is all over BC. They just changed their name to that recently so probably a lot of people wouldn't know that name. Also their smaller casinos use the name Playtime. That's what I have as my local casino. At least in BC the Player's club is called Encore (not sure about Edmonton and Ontario.

Gateway needs to make up revenue from the reduction in money laundering activities in bc!

I hadn't heard of them, but I don't really gamble outside of Nevada. Looks like they have a number of casinos, but I'm not familiar with any of them. https://www.gatewaycasinos.com/properties/

I didn't know Palace at West Edmonton Mall was redone. Maybe I'll check it out next time I visit..but if I'm in the West End, I'd end up at River Cree instead I'm sure. I can't see me going anywhere near the ice district, so meh on that one too.
Wish it was the one on 50th street. That place is nice since they renovated. It feels Vegasy to me. They seem to have more good games than Vegas casinos and I don't do too bad there.
Myvegas has hosts? That is weirder than Caesars emailing me that I have some VIP services 'host' person for non-gaming guests hahahaha.

Lol , there is one in my home town.

Well. not so much a casino as slots and a couple electronic tables.

I think they have bigger ones out west, but in Ontario they are taking over the municipal racetrack/slot type casinos that used to be run by OLG (provincial)

They did have VP on some of the bartops, but the place is been renovated right now now and the bar is gone, not sure if they will have the bartops or not when it is finished

I live in a small Canadian City and the small slot casino we have is operated by Gateway. I have half a million MyVegas points so there is some hope this will allow me to use some of them. The worthwhile Vegas offerings are slim as I don't stay at MLife properties.

    I totally agree Breanna61.
Vegas offers are slim to none if you don't get rooms at Mlife.
Gateway operates the London Ontario slots and a few others that are in driving distance from me.
I am hopeful they will have some free play/food credits for there that I can spend my 1.7 million points on.

This post is claiming that the "MyVegas" facebook game will have Gateway rewards..
the MyVegas game currently has Mlife rewards and others.. No CET..

Unfortunately Windsor is still the only link Canadians have to CET without crossing the border.

Here in British Columbia we have BC Lottery Corporation that oversees the casinos, but there are two companies that actually run the casinos: Gateway Casinos and Great Canadian Gaming

Gateway Casinos has 15 casinos in BC, 2 in Alberta and 9 in Ontario.

I can't say for the other properties, but for my local casino I don't know what good myVegas would do for me if they partnered up with Gateway Casino - might be able to get a free room that I would never use, but for other stuff like free food and buffets they pretty much give that stuff away pretty regularly already. If they'll do free play I would use that...

River Rock is part of Great Canadian Gaming.
Not sure what rewards they would do with Gateway, free room at Cascades or Villa lol.

I noticed there are Gateway rewards posted now but only for the Grand Villa Edmonton location so far. They are really lame.
