Table and slot win was slightly down (0.2 pct) from December 2018. Ocean (20.9 million) was up over 75 percent in table/slot win. Harrah's and Hard Rock were the only other gainers. Internet gaming up 70 pct. NJ sports betting revenue at $29.4 million (up 41 pct over Dec2018), with North Jersey accounting for almost 60 pct of that and Resorts Digital accounting for nearly 75 pct of the AC sports betting revenue.

I love Ocean. I loved Revel. Never understood why it didn't get more love from gamblers. Well, I did understand it...they had idiots running their casino. Evidently, this year they pulled in some new blood that knows what they're doing. Phenomenal GAW program keeps the place hopping enough to support excellent restaurants. No buffet so they offer food vouchers to use to eat where you'd like. A HL lounge that is what a HL lounge should be...upscale food with a bar stocked up with top of the line booze.

Just a couple of observations. Borgata is pulling in almost $800 million a year in total revenue, the next closest is Golden Nugget with less than half that. However, GN gets almost half of its revenue from Internet gaming. As for brick and mortar casino win, Borgata is tops followed by Hard Rock then Harrah’s. That new Moneyline Sports Book at Borgata seems to be doing really well. Any state (save for Nevada) that currently doesn’t have online gaming will probably have it soon, then numbers are too great to pass up.

Here is a link to the monthly report.

Is there a reason they are getting so much of the market- most attractive option? no real competition?

(Looking back on the report, I see they did launch first.)

The reason Ocean doesn't get more love: It took them forever to finish building it. I used to be a regular at Showboat and I remember of periods of building and then months with nothing going on there. The reason that we didn't like Revel is when they first opened they thought they could run the casinos without giving comps. Because they thought they would be a "resort". They finally learned that they could only be a resort less then 6 months our of the year. When they finally started to do comps the players that expected comps earlier didn't go back. Additionally you had to take the escalator from the boardwalk to the casino, another brilliant idea.
I admit it's a really nice place but it now sits at the end of the boardwalk and I just don't feel like going there anymore. They send me offers now, they gave me a black card but haven't gone since I got it.

I think it has something to do with the partnership with Draft Kings. Those young’ins with the fantasy sports were prime prospects when sports betting became legal.

The physical book is pretty small, the bar doesn’t comp drinks for bettors and the 8 or 10 VP machines have lousy pay tables with no comped drinks to boot. The only thing I’m not sure of is where does the online sports betting revenue get reported, is it considered Internet Gaming Win or Sports Wagering Revenue?

@oghuman, Ocean has an elevator on the ground floor adjacent to the escalators. It will take you to the gaming floor on 6 or the lobby on 11. Your black card entitles you and a guest complimentary admission to the VIP Lounge or the Chairman Lounge.

I'll be in AC Friday - Monday - I'll see if my card is still good I did a match to my 7* card. I got it last year before they made changes. If it's still good I'll try the Lounge - which ever is better.
