Does anyone have any suggestions on arranging chips in the chip rack of the craps table in order to do quick calculations of your bank roll?

I'm trying a different craps strategy next month and want to be able to know how much I'm up or down without taking too long.

I drop a dollar chip in between every $100 in chips.

I would just put an "off colored" chip (white or red) separating $100 increments of green...$500 increments of blacks...more importantly, on the craps table, put the highest colored chips in the center of your chip rack(s)...

Same. I used to try to line up the outer stripes but they always get messed up.

Saw and started putting chips perpendicular to the rack sometimes to get next bets ready and to track single rollers progress.
Fun when they stack enough to start a second rack, especially better colored.

I fiddle with the chips way too much. Stack them this way, sort them that way, put wins here, next bets here...I drive myself crazy but don’t stop doing it...

I do this every time I play. As a low roller, I usually buy in for $150 and divide my red chips into two rows of $75, one behind the other. I then play out of one row only, unless I am up over $150, at which time I begin a third row, and then play out of that row only. This enables me to always know how much I am up or behind at all times, since money management is important to me.

Craps tables usually have 3 sets of chip grooves. I usually put half my buy-in on the lower rack and as the game progresses try to replenish the lower rack to initial buy-in. Then I know the leftovers are profit. If the upper rack gets full the excess goes on the bottom but to the left of the initial buy-in.

But if both upper and lower is full then I know it's time to cash out but if the game is still hot the rest goes in my pockets!!!!

I also use the dollar or $5 chip to separate $100 in quarters, $500 in blacks (if I should get so lucky), but even that can be hard to keep up with if it's a hot table and you're collecting a lot of bets (not a bad problem to have)

Haha. I do the same. I always start with a highly organized rack and between all the action, drinking and high-fiving (or head hanging) my chips become a disaster. I'm constantly counting them - a big no no, i know.

First row of the chip tray is my buy-in. Winnings go into the 2nd row. If point is made, what I had placed as odds goes back into the buy-in tray.
I color up my winnings row using the buy-in row as I go along. In general, this gives me a good feel as to how the session is going.
I leave the table when I finish the buy-in row, whether I'm up or down (with some discretion, like I'm about to shoot again).

Buy in in back rack along with profit. All chips are stacked with the larger chips in the middle with whits on each side of reds. This deters chip grabbers.

I use the front rack for a couple things.
To put my set amount of bets in that I will be playing on the next hand ( myself or others).
I also use the front rack when I’m shooting to keep track of my rolls.

If I’m having a good session there will be an area in the middle of my back rack separated by white chips that includes my buy in and some profits that I won’t be touching.

When I’m in Vegas. I organize the chips somewhat but I don’t play around calculating how much I’ve won/lost.....I would go insane.

I find people who are betting bigger than they should be betting are the ones that are stressing and not really enjoying the game!!!

    Not trying to knock anyone....

I don't seem to have time to arrange my chips in any order other than by color, maybe. I play a lot of come bets, hardways, and horn bets so I keep busy.

Had to add one time I complimented a guy for being an "artist".
He had two full racks of greens piled, willy nilly, spilling, none of them in any stack or semblance of order on his two rails.
    It looked fun.

If it is going very well, I'd call my pocket the third rack, chips can go in but won't come out. (usually)

I usually let the friendly folks at the table help me count my chips. But I gave up craps, never seemed to win.
