vpfree2 has posted that both properties, decatur and boulder hwy, have added positive return games--- 6 machines at decatur and 8 machines at boulder have games returning over 100%,to include fpdw, jokers wild,db and ddb other than sams town these are the only 2 casinos in the country that offer fpdw a strange move since their decatur property not too long ago pulled all their full pay games which included one of my favorates an 8/5 bp game with progressives for the royal and 4-oaks
I heard Decatur got rid of table games so I quit going there. I liked to eat at Sourdough Cafe. TomTWI
Just got back from the Boulder Hwy location. Full pay TDB is available, too. The machines weren't too busy today. Had the Farmhouse Breakfast from Sourdough Cafe and it was excellent....especially for $3.99 with a player's card.
Nice to hear FPDW showing back up again. Arizona Charlie's (both locations) are some of the few remaining casinos I haven't check out. Now I have two good reasons to check them out, the full pay machines and Sourdough Cafe. Would be nice if Arizona Charlie's gives Stations some fierce competition and nabs some of their loyal customers.
I keep getting room offers from ACD - may have to take them up on the offer once I get good and vaccinated
Anyone actually stayed at ACD? Or ACB? The rooms look kind of awful from the pics. I'm not super snobby, but my Gawd are those actual bed spreads? Giggle. Just wondering what the feel of them are and what do the bathrooms look like. Shower/tub combos? Looking for a new place to plant my butt for some good VP. I want to go to a higher end property, but stories like this tend to make me rethink and remember what a cheap chick I am.
I have stayed at ACD a couple of times on my last few trips and had rooms in both hotel towers. The rooms are perfectly adequate. Not super nice, by any means, but I enjoyed them. I'd say the rooms are comparable to, although a bit bigger than, the rooms at Four Queens downtown. I believe all the rooms I've had there were a standard shower/tub combo - the last room I had there definitely was. On very little play (I didn't track closely but probably <$1,000 on VP each trip) they keep giving me two free nights - so I'm a fan of that - especially if they are now going to have some decent VP).
