I have reservations at both Aria (deluxe king) and MGM Signature (deluxe suite) for five nights during the Super Bowl weekend. Aria is $60 more, but it comes with free play and food comp. But, I do like the amenities at the Signature like coffeemaker, kitchen, fridge and whirlpool tub. I have a rental car, so geography is not an issue.

I've stayed at the Vdara (panoramic suite), but never the Aria. Would like to solicit everyone opinion on the choices. Thank you.

I would factor in other things other than price.

Where will you be spending most of your time - especially late at night? Staying at Signature, but playing at Aria would involve an outside walk "home" (or the other way around). To be, being able to wander from the casino or bar direct to an elevator in the same building is pretty much a deal breaker. At that time of the year, it might be a bit cold.

You mention having a car, but will you be using it all the time? You say the car takes geography out of the equation, but does it? From MGM to Aria for example, I think it takes longer to drive than walk. Actually, I am sure it does. And there is of course the drinking. Or if you are at Aria, and happen to wander to Bellagio, then Caesars but you car is back at Aria.

Having the amenities of an apartment at Signature can be of high value if you use them. If you never eat in and/or barely have drinks in the room, then it is worthless.

If you are with the other half who doesn't gamble and enjoy cooking meals on vacation, choose Signature, otherwise Aria.

I did not see how much in FP and Food they are offering. Or how much you are paying for the room. Or when.

I would also suggest that you could probably get the same or better offer and almost any MGM property - assuming that is a comp offer. Most will match what the "sister" properties are offering.

I completely get where you are coming from! I love The Signature, I've stayed there the last three times. I love the space and not having to go anywhere to get food or coffee when you get up in the morning. Aria is such a wonderful property, it's like apples and oranges. Stay at the Aria since you've never stayed there before, you know you can always get a good rate at The Signature for your next trip.

Stayed at signature a few times. Think its a great hotel, but unless youre going to gamble, eat, etc at mgm/south strip, I'd say aria would be a better choice.

Also staying at aria big game weekend, really looking forward to it.
