Ill be going to Vegas for week 1 of NFL this year and staying at Aria. I know the sports book isn't huge but does anyone know if you can reserve seats? And do they show every game or just a few? I know Wynn and Westgate are probably better options just wanted to stay at Aria if possible. I don't really care about the betting windows since I'll have the app on my phone just want a comfortable seat to watch all the games. Anyone have any other suggestions?

If you REALLY want to reserve a seat I think it requires a phone call and some $. On another thread someone was kind enough to mention Mirage now allows for online reservations; For that Sunday it looked like $160 a seat which gets you a reserved seat at 9am and unlimited beer/well drinks. But Aria's seating is tough to beat. I'll be at MB that weekend and honestly I might just be antisocial and watch from my room with my firestick.

To my knowledge, the reserved seats at Aria (the area up the ramp to the left as soon as you enter the book) is only reserved either by hosts or sportsbook managers. So basically, you either need a host who will do it for you or a connection at the book

I too am a fan of the Aria, but not the sportsbook. Most of the time you are standing in a sea of folk. I find the "book" at Park MGM to be ok or Excalibur has comfy and plenty of seating. In my opinion tough, the best is the Westgate. They open up their showroom and show all the games. Cheaper beer and food fare is nice also..

Jeff-do you think your opinion on the sportsbook at park mgm is still valid (based on all the new construction and such)? i haven't been in a while which is why I ask.

As of the last time I was there (beginning of June) they really done nothing to change it. Does not mean they won't though. We have spent a lot of time at this venue under their old incarnation and always felt comfortable.

Most sports books are now reserving a lot of the seats. With so many options of places to watch games, no way we're paying to sit in a sports book. At the Mirage last year during football seaon they velvet roped off a whole section for bottle service & food service, using the same idea that the night clubs and the day clubs & pools are doing.
