I heard rumblings that they were doing some renovations at the Aria sportsbook after March Madness. Has anyone had a look at the setup, particularly for horseplayers? What, if anything, is different about the setup?

    Thanks

Am also interested in this. Going to be my home base here in a couple of weeks.

Short trip to try and get back to some kind of normal.

Horses are now where the High Limit area was.
Old horse area has been walled off.
Renovations are for banquet space upstairs so room has been cut shorter

Thanks, figured this was the case. I am heading out next week. Anyone know if this is still the case?

I stayed at Vdara on June 22-25. I walked through the Aria Sportsbook while I was there. I can confirm the description by unlvrobo is still case. I chatted with one of the book staff about the renovations. It sounds like all of the work should be completed before the start of football season. The horses should be back close to the original area, with everything updated and improved. I believe it will all be just a bit larger as well, but not 100% sure.

Thanks for that update @spicole. Hoping it is pretty close to what it was before.

I believe it will be similar at worst, but expect it to be a bit bigger and improved.
