Did you just say Tito's?????? Let's go. 10 pack for me! Been going there for years mostly before and after laker games when they played at the forum. My son (he is 7) tells me I can go there only once a year. On my birthday. Like that place way too much! Nothing like the sauce there. Back in the day there was a rumor they used kangaroo meat! So you know the tacos were better back them! Lol.

describes my wife, so she limits me to vegas 4x a year. some how I sneak in a few extra for VMB emergencies/sporting events/celebrations but what ever. Shes good for me in the long run as I can sometimes go on tilt. I only have 1 female friend that is exactly as Packer is described (its like finding a unicorn) but the enabling each other in gambling and vegas would definitely mess me up in the long run.

Maybe you should try marrying a poor straight guy like myself?!? There would be no gay stuff, just gambling, golf and drinking.

There is a BBQ place in Vegas I went to recently that I waited about an hour for which was pretty good. I haven't had Tito's in ages. The White Castle lines have died down and I don't think we were drunk enough to scarf them down. 2 more Eiffel towers and we might be able to do it.

I have lots of guy friends to gamble with. I'm just saying not as many female normal friends that I gamble with.

I have beautiful girls that I can bring to Vegas and wine and dine, but they lose interest or only feign interest when I am gambling; which does take up a lot of my time on Vegas trips.

I'm sure a lot of the players here are familiar with the scene of a High Roller with lots of arm candy at his private table. I just rather they stay in the room instead of sitting there acting bored or playing with their phone.

The excitement of squeezing the cards with nice smelling people breathing down your neck (instead of PP) is so much better...haha!

Btw, j/k about PP, he smells ok.

One of my friends met a girl in Vegas who he dated for a long time as well. He doesn't care for Vegas either, doesn't gamble at all and only goes for group trips to drink and party. She was from Cali, they met at Wynn, hooked up a little, and then she moved to NY to be with him. She got her own apartment, job, etc. They dated for a few years and we thought they would get married but it didn't last. She still lives here though.

I think it may have been the same woman I described. She was sitting alone, but no idea if she was married or not

Hey, that might be my future ex wife! Kidding.... I wouldn't want a significant other who gambles like that. Would you? Unless I didn't gamble. Like I said there's room for only one degen in this family.

Well, that's an even taller order to fill. I love to gamble, but if my friends were playing at stakes I couldn't match, I think I'd rather stick hot needles in my eyes than sit around watching, cheering and fetching the waitress for any length of time. The guys here can and have hired working women to do that lol. The guys either need to find someone who loves to gamble and can match their stakes or find someone with no interest in gambling who isn't bored out of her mind watching other people having fun. Someone like that may be a rather boring person.

Another part to this story,is that in my opinion, most of the world has a 40 hour work week,or more, and save up to vacation. And until you really REALLY know someone you have no idea if they are in debt up to their ears or not. And some people it bothers that people have made 'it' in life and are gambling more in one hand that could take this other person to out of debt and home free. Jealousy ,,,and jealousy tears down a relationship quickly,,JUst one part to a part that holds many moving pieces.

    Breanna61,
Color of the chips are red, or just the right amount to make you a tiny bit nervous would you then stand there and play with your significant other high fiving enjoying and having fun for a little time not 3 hours not 2 hours not even a one hour session. Let's say 45 minutes, would you be up for that without being bored out of your mind for your husband ? would you do that and or least pretend that you're having a good time with having a few drinks, some conversation or whatever? I bet you would. Any Breanna's or Vagaschic's out there? Are they all taken?

I can't gamble at your level Packer or at any of the other high rollers level on this board. Some of you guys have bankrollr that are equal to what I make in one year lol......

With that said I wouldn't care how much you gamble as long as you can afford it and I wouldn't be bored out of my mind watching you gamble at that level and cheer for you :) As far as gamble with someone who bets significantly higher than me that's a little more challenging. When two people have significantly different bankrolls it's almost impossible to gamble together. I'm sure you would be bored out of your mind at a low limit table. But as I said I don't mind watching the high rollers actions and cheering for them :)

I agree with Daniela and Breanna. I may not be comfortable gambling at the higher limit tables but I could certainly root for someone for a few hours, as long as the conversation was reasonably interesting. But like Daniela said gambling together is different if one or the other is playing significantly more per hand.

Maybe find a woman who can hang with you and root for you for a few hours, and then let her go off and do her own gambling or shopping or pool time or whatever for a few hours. Compromise is good.

It has been my experience that if you frequent the same casino it is easy enough to ask the pit if your friends (male or female) can play at the table with a lower limit.
Although I have been turned down on occasion, for the most part it has been okay'd. So vastly different bankrolls can play together.

When me and both my buddies get together it is really odd, because we have a complete spread of bankrolls. One friend will buy in somewhere between 20-50K, I'll usually do between 1-10K, and my other friend will usually be at about $500. And we still tend to find tables that will allow us all to play at our levels. We tend to play many hours a day at the same casino so they know us very well.

Bo is absolutely right. Also at a private table, there's not really a minimum. I've had an assistant at the table betting 25 dollars a hand at baccarat, which you can't find in the whole casino. Since they didn't have that low a marker for commission, they just ignored it for the most part....although it was funny the dealer thought it was a tip the first time he bet and took his money haha.

I consider $500 at hand high rolling :) I would be more of a $15 or $10 at hand :) That's why I play slots, I fell if you have a low bankroll, it lasts longer with slots.

I remember jdvegas' report where they were letting his friend play nickels at a BJ table in the Mansion. The guy had the best $5 blackjack table in Vegas!

Hopefully they took full advantage of that little arrangement ...
