Are "Adult" category shows strictly for couples?

I am visiting Vegas in February with my younger brother. We are both happily married and wouldn't visit a strip club or anything but would consider seeing one of the shows like Fantasy, X Burlesque, etc. if it seemed like it'd be fun and maybe a little more tame than the strip club. In fact our wives are encouraging us to get tickets to one of these shows insisting it will be fun and is totally fine by them. I don't think we'd have their same blessing for a strip club.

I get the impression that shows like this are more aimed at couples looking for something a little racy. How ridiculous would it look or seem for two guys without their spouses to attend? Are these shows even enjoyable? I don't want to be seen as some creepy perv. I'd rather go somewhere else LOL.

Advice is appreciated. Thanks

I went with a guy friend and a friend who is a girl but not dating either of us to fantasy... didn't feel out of place

I dont think so, Fantasy is a pretty good show beside the girls they have a great singer and a very funny stand up, so its more a complete show.

X Burlesque and its sister shows( the country musc and the rock music version) is a lot more traditional with one girl after another doing her number

I have seen crazy girls, fantasy, x burlesque on solo trips and never felt like a perv.

look at all the shows geared toward women (chippendales/thunder from down under and the likes) you dont see many couple at those places either

Unless you are already famous, nobody will remember you. You're just one of hundreds of paying customers, no more, no less. Remember that you are in a place that many activities that are considered unacceptable in most places are considered not just acceptable but actually normal and mainstream in Las Vegas.

The best ways to be remembered in an unfavorable light are not to tip, or tip poorly; and to make a scene and be an a- hole. So don't do either of those things and you won't even be noticed.

I liked Zumanity, it was a little tamer than I expected, but well done.

Absinthe would be good too, it's very funny, raunchy, but it's not designed to be "sexy."

How is Zumanity? I have read a lot of mixed reactions when I checked out online reviews.

I liked Zumanity more than I thought I would. Out of all of the "adult" shows, this is one that in my opinion is better suited for a "couple". Fantasy at the Luxor was pretty good but it has been several years since I have seen it. Paperposter is right, though, the front row folks end up as part of the act!

I wholeheartedly vote for Absinthe. There will not be any topless entertainers but it is so raunchy and great.

Good luck!

p.s. I would still vote for the strip club anyway, regardless of what the spouses may say!

I have been to a couple of these shows this year. I went to X Country earlier this year and then X Burlesque on my last visit. I enjoyed them both and I will try X Rocks on my Feb visit. Never felt weird going on my own. Wife's coming on one of my trips next year so hoping she will go to one of the shows with me as well.

I went to see Fantasy with a couple buddies in the past. It was a good show, recommend it for you guys!
I just seen Zumanity solo last month and it was good, but I would say more geared towards couples so I recommend save seeing this one for a time when you're with the wife.
I seen Absinthe about 5-6 years ago and thought it was great. I'm pretty sure there was at least one topless lady in the show at that time too so you just might see some boobies ;)

We went to see Fantasy but there were a lot of men there, no stigma. However, it is extremely tame if you wanted a raunchy show. Zumanity is even worse, not at all sexy, a huge disappointment. Of the shows mentioned, at least Absinthe is entertaining and very rude humour if you like that sort of stuff.
