IMG_6836.webp I just booked a couple comped nights in Atlantic City. In the fee schedule the usual resort fees show up in addition to a $10 "other" fee. Has anyone seen this and can you explain what it is for? I have a feeling this is just another bs fee to help get them out of bankruptcy.

I am diamond so I don't have to pay resort fees when staying at a CET property. I stay in AC often. When I stay in AC there is always a $5/night fee. It is the only fee I have to pay. I cannot use comps towards it and I cannot get it removed. I have been told it is taxes (maybe the City charges a room surcharge fee to the casinos above and beyond the State tax?). Anyway, this is how they do it. In my case, $5/night is worth the stay.

I didn't know CET doesn't let you use comps towards the $5 per night fee, Borgata lets you.

The $5 per night fee goes to the state, plus you pay 14% tax on the resort fee.

We stayed in a South Forum Tower room about two weeks ago, it was nice and the room was recently refurbished. It was funny, but we were given a room North Forum Tower, it had a window that was blacked out, kind of creepy, so I asked to be moved.

64 bux for a free room? Not bad. Not bad at all. :goofy:

That's for two nights, such a deal!
