I recall the dealer pushing a button and playing a tune whenever certain hands were dealt. This was back around the year 2000 and continued until about 8-9 years ago when for whatever reason the practice was discontinued. I believe the tune was played whenever a player was dealt a full house or better. What I don't recall and can't seem to find the answer anywhere is the name of that tune. I was hoping to find a sound byte. Does anyone remember the name of that tune or can provide a sound byte?
Thanks

Was it just like a synthsizer-like set of notes?

Or a real song, like the 70's Bachmann Turner Overdrive?

I remember sitting across the pit from tables and hearing the music.
Can't remember what it was but it was always loud like they wanted the entire casino floor to hear it.
Pretty sure it was not the BTO song.

No, it wasn't the BTO Let it Ride song. I'm thinking it was a series of about 15-20 notes, not from any specific song. It was played loudly over and over again to draw attention to the game that was paying on a premium hand. Thanks for the responses so far. Back then there were usually 4-5 Let it Ride tables and it was quite common hearing the tune frequently played.

Hmm. That must have been before I started playing table games. I don't recall ever hearing it. I do remember the BTO song from my younger days, though.

I do. It has 12 notes I think.
Daaaa da da da
Da dada duh duh duh duuuu dut

Amazingly, I could not find it on youtube! Sorry.
I remember this tune fondly, as me & 'vegas buddy' used to randomly start mimicking the tune during various wins at blackjack.
It was a catchy tune!

I never played let it ride long enough to ever hear this song. :( I never saw anyone make a full house or better while at the table. I saw a table shutdown for a straight flush about 10 years ago, so I hoped it was played then. But nevertheless, Big Tip's description of it gave me great joy today.

That seems vaguely familiar and probably would seem even more familiar if it wasn't for my "in-head synthesizer" being out of tune plus I am musically challenged. It would be great to find some audio for this tune. Thanks Big Tip.

Yeah. I've looked on and off for about two years trying to find something on the internet that matches my recall of the tune. Yes it is AMAZING that seemingly there is nothing to be found out there.

The Let It Ride table game was created by ShuffleMaster, Inc. and with any luck there is a VMB member out there who either worked for or is still with ShuffleMaster that can help me out.

Good luck with that...SHFL will tell you to pound sand...I tried to contact many people at SHFL, in hopes of finding any Table Master UTH units left...I even got a vegas media outlet involved and THEY couldn't even get an answer!

It was a version of BTO's Let It Ride when the game was new. Only some casinos played the song when you hit certain hands though.

I remember music but the exact tune I do not remember. When someone got a really good hand we would tell the dealer to "Get the key"

Bahhhhh buh-dup da dup dup dup-dup duhhhhhhhhh, Buh dupitty BUP!
