I figure you can add a few of those EXPLOITAVE DELETED here..just use code. " The monkey is in daycare.. I repeat.. The monkey is in daycare". I'm heading back this Spring and I'm too darn excited to do anything but Read VEGAS stories..

No I don't like Blackjack.
I played Roulette with Patti & Norm & Sandi
the other day at the four queens.
Sandi & I doubled our money and quit.
Patti & Norm just kept playing until all their chips were gone.
We bought 15 funny chips each for $ 10.
We had lunch at Magnolia's Verandah
and played some slots.
They had been staying there and did quite well on the Reel Deal Machines.
I had stayed at the Palms for 3 nights before going to 4 Q. I won about $ 300. one night on nickel wheel of fortune.
They have a lot of slots, I lost every time I played Video Poker, I lost at Craps.
So I just stuck to nickel slots for bonuses.
They also have penny slots - you can afford to play maximum coins if you play only a penny !
That was lots of fun...
I got to strip the guy at "Risque Business"
and watched Granny brew mooonshine at the "Hillbillies"
Lots of play on Tobasco near the door and the bar.
Chick Sing night on Monday,
the chick couldn't sing very well - just loud. But she had a lounge full of people so I guess some people like that kind of noise.

I was there last Sunday at this time,
only one week ago ----- came home Friday.
Had a good time, and was glad to spend time
with friends from Wisconsin.

I can give you a pre-trip report.

Me and a couple of the fellas are leaving this Friday and coming back on Monday.

I was cleaning out my desk 2 weeks ago and found a mailing from Treasure Island. The discounted rate was still good until Jan. 19th, so I bring it up to the fellas while watching the Fiesta Bowl. I get 2 takers, we're in!

I call TI on Monday and they said the promotion was sold out for Saturday and Sunday night, but I could stay there if I wanted to pay $229.00 per night instead of 69/69/39. Of course I blew them off and added another place to my blacklist.

I looked around for deals and found the Four Queens for about $50 a night and was about to book, but my buddy called his host at Flamingo and got 79/79/35 for Fri/Sat/Sun, kinda steep but we took it.

I checked the back (alcohol) page of the Rite-Aid paper to look for deals on booze today. I'll just buy some beer for the drive and get whatever other liquor we need in Vegas where it's cheaper.

I haven't seen the lines on the football games, but I'll probably take the Titans and the Eagles.

I'm going with 2 Vegas Veterans, so it'll pretty much be a drinking/gambling/girls(looking at, in my case)/football/shrimp cocktail trip.

And that's about all I have planned.

If you are having Vegas-withdrawl, try the Travel Channel. This week is Vegas Week - started last night. It's on at 7 p.m. (CST) and there are 3 shows a night. Billy and I watched the ones last night - "Sucker Bets", "Number One Bathrooms" and some eating competition. You didn't miss too much if you didn't catch them - but tune in tonight - not sure which ones are on, but at least it VEGAS!

I thought about writing a few previously 'unpublished' stories, just because it would a lot of fun, but I'm under a time crunch right now. I'm going to be offline for a few days while I relocate, so the computer and everything is getting packed tonight. I pick up the U-Haul tomorrow, and then me and Eddie are off to Nashville, on the Mother of All Road Trips.

I can't get back to Vegas until September...

Mikey?????????? September? What about March Madness? your not going then? OMG.. Vegas might have to have Rolling black outs to compensate.. LOL. Honestly. Are you moving? Not going in March? I'm concerned.. Will you be okay? Thats an aweful long time...
