    My Trip Report

One of the things I enjoy most about this board is reading the trip reports. They are as varied as the possibilities in Vegas themselves. After having read so many for so long, I thought it my duty to give back and submit a couple of reports of my own. I have been to Las Vegas only twice (so far), once with a pair of straight-laced fellows for whom "partying down" means a glass of wine at someone's house with classical music in the background, and once with my family, which includes a 9-year-old girl, whose presence set the tone for that trip. The timbre of the reports will therefore reflect those circumstances. Unlike with reports like Hurricane Mikey's, I doubt anyone will read these and wish they had been me, a 40-something socially challenged mildly overweight tightwad nerd who never sowed a wild oat in his life, but I think my stories will present yet another take on enjoying Las Vegas from yet another point of view. These trips happened a while back as well (March 2000 and July 2001), so they should be fun in terms of "then and now" comparisons, and I remember them as if they'd happened last weekend...

So what do you think? Are you interested?

You bet we are! This board is read/enjoyed/contributed to by all different kinds. About the only thing all of us share in common is a love for Vegas and Sonya-for giving us this chance to meet and converse. Just be sure you clearly state the dates as some of the info may be dated in an ever changing Vegas. I say go for it!!! [IMG]

    Hey MadB-

It's never too late to sow them wild oats!! (I told ya about the old gent at LVC with the young Asian escort on his arm... ;) )

By the way, thanks for the compliment on my trip reports. I never thought it would make anybody want to 'Be Like Mike', but hey, now I know how Tiger Woods must feel...except without all those troublesome millions and supermodel girlfriends...

Heck yeah, post those reports. To paraphrase Walken..."I have a fever, baby, and the only prescription is more Trip Reports!!"

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm currently working on the first report from March 2000 and hope to have it posted soon.
