How did the power outage affect it, if at all?

    Anything interesting? Was it crowded?

I was there the day of. There GGWU ended up being restricted to 3 computers at the TR desk at Bally's. It was a complete cluster...

I checked in at Paris on Friday and went to GGWU on Saturday, so the power was back up and held it at the Paris Ballrooms. I thought it was smaller than previous years or maybe because it's the first time I went on Nov instead of Dec (usually at Caesar's). The check-out lines weren't as long, but again this was the first time I went on a Nov - maybe the Dec GGWU is different.

I went to it. It's in a much more convenient place than the ballroom at Caesars.

I just took the freeplay and left.

Was it still 30,000 points per $100 free play?

I went the day after the power outage and was stunned at how quick I was in and out, less than 10 minutes. Last year at Caesar's it took me almost 2 hours to get through the checkout line. Plus they had some delicious cookies for patrons.

As fate would have it, I've accrued enough GGWU points to go back to Caesar's in December and get another gift. Hopefully it's closer to 10 minutes than 2 hours.

Gift cards are 35,000 but free play is 30,000 per $100.

Free play must be taken in $50 increments and gift cards as low as $10.

Great to know. I have 680K to spend and I didn't want to have to take seventy five $25 Mastercard gift cards.

But seriously, between that and the 500K I have at mLife, I should be all set!!

Ditto. Took it to a roulette table, won once, lost once. Took my two green chips to a craps table, put one each on hard 6 and 8. Hit the hard 6, collected $225, let the quarters ride and lost them.

I'm sure I donked off the $225 over the course of the day, but who's counting.

I just posted this on the Paris Power Outage thread....

We were in town for SEMA, staying at Harrahs. I took the monorail (because traffic Gridlock)
down to Ballys. Played at a machine until GGWrapup was suppose to Open.

I walked thru the hallway over to Paris, but was stopped before the hallway to GGWrapup Convention area.
THATS when I heard about the Power outage.

So returned to Ballys to play awhile longer........ finally gave up since it was taking so long, and
    monorailed Back to Harrahs.

This whole scenario made me realize CE Needs Kiosks at Other CE hotels for GGWrapup.
    I hadn't heard about any?
But they certainly Need some in case anything like this ever happens again.

Luckily I was able to return the next day.( NO LINES at GGWUP)
I'm sure some people had to leave.
Wonder if CE allowed guests to do any Online shopping if they had to go home, and miss GGWrapup
    because of the power outage??
