Maybe show him an aerial picture of Ely prison and show him on a map where it is. Youtube video of the city jail restraint chair/spit hood could help also If he'd agree to drinking only beer and avoiding yards o' ale filled with poison it could avoid problems. Remind him that Las Vegas is a marathon, not a sprint.
You know. I might go to tell for this. But, have you considered drugging him? First drink. Woohoo. Party party. He passes out. You all go about your business. I mean, do it safely of course. I'm not a savage.
The key word here is "may". Any chance you can persuade your group to choose another locale? Disregard: Just caught up & saw that the group has decided on Vegas. I will be following your TR. Photos please.
Drug a rhinoceros safely: sleeping rhino Too much: dead rhino Not enough: rhino on drugs he doesn’t understand
You guys don't want solutions. That's what it is. You don't want to solve your problem. Any pharmacist or nurse or doctor or veterinarian understands it's simple math. Get the guy's weight, calculate your dose, you're done. It's not rocket surgery!
How many drinks he has on the flight from the east coast may be an indicator which direction things will go in Vegas. Your avatar location says New Jersey, so I am assuming you are coming cross country.
Great initiative everyone, some solid ideas. I will NOT be drugging anyone so ill just put that out there. I'm leaning WAY more toward pricing us out of a Vegas trip and just going to Atlantic City since we are so close. Then his wife will come and that can be her problem. Its sad when one person can ruin everyone elses trip plans but with him I see so much downside vs the possibility of a good time. Time will tell though as we are still a long way off and i have 2 Vegas trips to do before then.
Youse guys should at least have a big boy conversation with the fella in question, and spell out the consequences beforehand. When he does wake up in the drunk tank the next morning, it won't be a big surprise to him that he isn't getting bailed out by ya'll. If he knows this, he won't be able to get all pissed off and indignant at any of you. Might even shame him into behaving.
If this guy cannot handle alcohol, he should not be drinking. Drink only if you can handle it and have fun without abusing it. We want everyone to be happy and security to be happy and not have to worry about any drama.
I stopped reading throughout this thread weeks ago as it seemed more to be anecdotes and segues of people everyone knows than anything, but was anyone who posted here actually arrested in Vegas themselves? If I missed anything, I'd love to go back and check it out lol
Yep. The lifetime, auto response to that question Is: “NO Officer... not a drink.” ALWAYS, FOREVER... Anything else is auto “Reasonable and probable grounds” for the Home team! Lesson learned.
Hey, I was trying to be (too?) honest! I have not been stopped in one of those for several years, and having learned the lesson, unless I'm totally gooned, a condition which I'm smart enough to not drive in, I'll just say I've had nothing that day/evening.
And don’t say, one word more than you’re required. My career was spent in a type of law enforcement and the Guilty always feel the need to embellish their innocence. The more you say, the more guilty you appear. Less is far more.
EXCELLENT CHOICE! I would not be wasting one nano second on a Vegas Trip, running interference for an arsehole like this. Not one.
No, but I’ve been kicked out of Paris. Had to write a letter to the head of security, etc. This was in 2013, I like to think I’ve outgrown that type of behavior.
