Any Vegas spas that serve alcohol?

Yesterday I went to a spa here in Toronto that, much to my surprise, served alcohol. There were people sitting on a patio by the wet areas sipping on beer and cocktails, and I thought to myself that would make for a fantastic thing to do, in between hot tub soaks and steam room lingering.

I Googled "Vegas spas with alcohol" and could only find one old Tripadvisor thread with chatter about "of course not, that's dangerous". Which makes sense... but then again, it would also make perfect sense for alcohol to be made part of virtually any experience in Vegas since... well... it's Vegas.

So what's the deal here? Are there any spas in Vegas that serve alcohol? Or am I limited to going to the casino floor in my bathrobe and getting a beer at the bar and then going back to the spa?*

    * Yes, I know, they probably wouldn't let me leave with a bathrobe... though I can't help but chuckle at how funny it might look to be standing at a casino bar sipping on a beer in a robe and flip flops :)

I'm pretty confident no Strip spa serves acohol. The only possibility might be Canyon Ranch, since they have a small restaurant as part of the spa. Even then, its outside the main spa area and I cannot imagine they would let you bring a drink inside

Interesting question. Now that I think about it I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen alcohol offered in a LV spa. Some good spas in other areas offer wine or champagne in connection with a healthy lunch—outside the treatment areas.

There is an issue with dehydration. If you’re going to the steam room and drinking at the same time, you might very well pass out. If you’re getting a 90 minute treatment, you’ll have to interrupt it to pee if you’ve been drinking. No decent spa wants either of those things.

There's also an issue with having any glass in a spa area but agree with the point above about heat, especially in a steam or sauna, and alcohol being a bad combination.

I had champagne with a pedi at Aria - but that was in the salon area.

Also I think I know which spa you are talking about in Toronto and it's one of my favs :)

Yeah, the hair salons at the better hotels will serve you cocktails/wine...

Salons are totally different and don't present the health or safety risks that spas do. I had two glasses of champagne at the Encore salon while getting hair and makeup done on NYE. :)

Sal at Qua Salon and Spa (Caesars) would get me plenty fucked up back in the day during a barber shave..

Kinda uncomfortable being buzzed then have really hot suffocating heat applied to your mug imo.

...but the cold towels and the balm made it all worth it. Yeah, if they did actively serve booze in a spa, it would be a daily disaster I'd imagine.
