Just finished Season 7. I LOVE this show! IMHO, I think William H. Macy as Frank Gallagher is an amazing performance. Frank is just a despicable human being and you just want to kick him in the head sometimes, but he is absolutely true to his own convictions. His political and state of the world rants against society are priceless. The Gallagher's as a group are a pack of immoral, law breaking, backstabbers, screwing anybody they can get their hands on, both literally and figuratively. Chicago South Side white trash. But somehow, their stories are just people struggling to make it in a world that just doesn't give a damn about them. The show manages to be heartbreaking, joyful, uplifting and shake your head "what disaster happens next", that manages to pull out it's belly laugh moments. Warning: If you haven't seen it, be advised that a lot of scenes are soft porn, so if that bothers you, it's best not to watch. Me, I can hardly wait for Season 8.
