Well, though MGM is currently sticking with and pushing myVegas, Borgata has its own offering, which MGM is beginning to push as well. Not a fan for a few reasons, chief being that you only earn points for rewards through purchases, and it takes a LOT to get points for anything good. May be cheaper to grind it out at the casino. I really only think they're pushing it to open up more people to the real online casino they have, or for MGM to test the waters in Jersey further for other gambling expansions of the interweb variety. At least you get $10 in slot money for signing up...

I am sure there will be new rewards beginning June 7th. You see advertisements for MyVegas throughout the casino, they even had a desk a few weeks ago giving out info and explaining the program to people.

Yeah, but that real casino is only available to New Jersey residents. I am a member, but excluded from playing because I reside in California..

for non NJ residents there is a free play section, but to earn points for rewards you have to purchase credits for that free play

I just recently noticed Borgata missing from MyVegas rewards. Any word on if and when it will return?

I don't think MyVegas will be back for a while at Borgata because they are still having issues with accounts, especially people who had Mlife accounts, myself included. I was issued a new account and they are supposed to merge the new account to the old account but as of today it is still not done. Also all my offers ate tied to the new number so in order to use any free play or make hotel reservations I need to use the new account which I don't have that card anymore. So I will be stopping by the Mlife desk for the 5th time to get this straightened out.

    Hey Now!
I haven't played at the Borg for a couple of years. I was still getting $10 free slot play now and then. I live in VA.
I have an MLife card, but haven't used it for anything but MyVegas rewards in Vegas for years.
I got a flier from the Borg for $50 slot play and $50 in express comps good till the end of August..
When I go to the Borg site and log in to my MLife account, these show up, just like they used to on the Borg site.
I'm going up next week to take advantage of them.
Now if I can just catch the MyVegas matchplay and free slot play rewards once before they sell out...

You're lucky with your MLife account working at the Borgata. Mine doesn't work and the link on the Borgata's website is still showing "maintenance." I have a trip coming up in a few weeks too, so I'm glad I booked everything before the transition to MLife.
